President Biden has ordered the release of White House visitor logs from the Trump administration to the House select committee investigating last year’s Capitol riot, overriding his predecessor’s claims of executive privilege.
In a Tuesday letter to the head of the National Archives, White House counsel Dana Remus stated that Biden had determined that Trump’s privilege claim over the logs “is not in the best interests of the United States, and therefore is not justified.”

Wow. Oh goodie. Establishing a precedent. You can count on the Democrats whine like babies if it is turned on them. But of course we all know that Democrats are hypocrites. And count on the Republicans to fold like a card table and “play fair” and not pull this stunt.
Biden may be giving himself a whole lot of trouble for when he’s impeached for violations of immigration law.
Okay so if the visitor logs are not protected than start going to court to release Clinton’s Obama’s and Joe’s.

Those WH visitor logs are probably as exciting as watching paint dry. There’s also no reason they should be kept secret for any president.
After the Durham report, nobody should put any weight to the Jan 6 panel. It’s all get Trump, destroy the opposition bs. I think everyone on that panel should go to prison.

There’s been a longstanding precedent that the incoming president didn’t screw with the outgoing president because if he did then the next guy would do it to him. That’s being upended now with Biden’s attempts to take cheap shots at Trump. Turnabout’s fair play. If we ever do have another republican president then that precedent has now been broken. Now Biden’s crooked kickback deals with his brother and Hunter are fair game. Now anything a president has done can be scrutinized at length. It’s long been recognized that screwing with a former president for political purposes isn’t in the best interest of the country, that’s no longer.
