Left-wing Hollywood star Ron Perlman has given up on the United States, calling for secession in the form of a national divorce between red and blue states.
Perlman laid out his proposal in a typically gruff tweet on Thursday. “It’s time that every state they would elect republicans to represent them, and all of the rest of us separate,” he tweeted. “You don’t wanna live in my world and I certainly don’t want to live in yours.”
If Ron Perlman is uncomfortable with the growing partisan rancor, he can partly blame himself.
The Hellboy star is one of Hollywood’s most incendiary and belligerent left-wing ideologues, regularly using his social media accounts to insult conservatives. Following Rush Limbaugh’s death last year, Perlman said the late radio host will “spend the rest of eternity” in hell.

Well one thing that can be done now is to propose open discourse of diverging views in a civilized manner. Support the 1st amendment and stop silencing views that do not confirm with the Left’s viewpoints.

Since Perlman’s family came to the United States long after California was admitted as a state I think the real question is who the hell is he to talk of secession?
In his case, a better question would be why are you standing on this dirt that you had nothing to do with? What’s your official rationale for your continued occupation of land incorporated as a state of the United States?
He was let in. He has no ancestry here to the founding people. His entire claim to any property rights or other rights of citizenship lie with the original admission of his probably grandparents (I don’t know his family history, but it’s an educated guess) and his subsequent birth and claim to citizenship under the 14th Amendment.
So who is he to claim the California coastline as “his”?
His claim to that land rests entirely with an act of admission passed by a White Anglo-Saxon Congress back in 1850. He’s none of the above, and could reasonably be regarded as nothing but a transient.

Blue states are heavily financially dependent on red states.
I am familiar with one suburban area on a main road that had several blocks of warring Trump and Biden signs in 2020.
Every house had many signs—obviously designed to irritate their neighbors.

This is the United States of America. We are supposed to be following our Constitution. Anyone who doesn't like it is FREE to leave.
I am for a divorce. Counties can opt out of their states and join others. There will be islands of liberals in cities surrounded by the real world. Separate citizenship but with agreement of free travel or free travel corridors. Each new nation will have to fund its own expenses to include National defense and entitlements. Immigration laws can and should be vastly different. They can give us back the constitution. They don’t want it anyway.
The only ones we keep are the pro American celebrities like James Woods, Robert Davi, kid rock and Jon Voight.
