Joe Rogan has addressed recent criticism that his podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience" has helped to spread COVID-19 misinformation.
A backlash from scientists and health professionals prompted Neil Young and Joni Mitchell to request that their music be taken off Spotify, which owns the podcast.
In a video posted to Instagram Sunday, Rogan said of Young and Mitchell: "I'm very sorry that they feel that way. I most certainly don't want that."
He added: "I want to thank Spotify for being so supportive during this time and I'm very sorry that this is happening to them and that they're taking so much heat from it."

I don’t do Spotify, but was able to listen to the Dr. Malone interview elsewhere. He posted a 10 minute CYA video on instagram which I watched. He mentioned that he was just messing around with some buddies doing podcasts when the popularity exploded out of nowhere.
I added the Spotify app last night and am giving the free version a test drive today.
Once again another macho man caves! What a wimp he should’ve resigned and said pay off my contract and I’m gone!! Heroes that fight against this insanity by the left-wing communist idiots become heroes and mess a massive massive following. By caving, even though it was a lukewarm apology, he will come across as bending the knee and those that were forcing forcing Spotify to ban him will declare a victory. He looks so tough and mean but inside he’s a wuss. Sad!

I think everyone interpreted what he said in the way they saw it.
I started by not reading the whole article. As I read on, I changed my opinion.
Well for a family man he talked a pretty big game on his past shows. I’m sorry once you apologize to the enemy they get super charged and emboldened! This ain’t gonna stop until they destroy him! We all know this because we know communist’s game plan.This Fight was his to win and unfortunately he tapped out.
There is really no plus for Joe to be publicly belligerent about it and he said he will have more balanced voices, etc but I'm still going to remind you again the CDC was wrong. I'm guessing he doesn't change a thing.

Not an apology. Gives the appearance of taking the high road. Who cares what party he is, he is for freedom. It has become that simple. If he can move the left toward freedom we can make progress.
This is very good. This is strategic thinking the likes of which is rare. We need more of it.
