Half of American voters who are unwilling to get vaccinated for the Chinese coronavirus directly cite concern over side effects, a Harvard/Harris Poll released this week found.
The survey, taken November 30-December 2, 2021, among 1,989 registered voters, found 67 percent indicating that they have been vaccinated, with another 13 percent saying they intend to get the jab. One-fifth of Americans, 21 percent, say they “will not get the vaccine.” Notably, that is the answer for 30 percent of 18-24 year olds.
The survey then asked respondents, “Why are you not willing to take the vaccine? Please select all that apply.”
Half said they are “concerned about side effects,” while 41 percent said they “don’t think it’s effective.” Another 23 percent said they are not worried about the virus, followed by 14 percent who say they have already recovered from the virus. Another 13 percent cited both religious objections as well as health concerns, and 11 percent said “it should go to other people.”

Not worried about side effects since we have selfishly chosen to not participate in the grand experiment.
On the other hand we feel awesome because our shots and boosters can go to some underserved community. :-}
I vote for all of the above on the reasons listed.
Does the pollster information go into a govt data base? I don’t care who asks me, I’ve had my “shots”... I went to college.
The other half are concerned about the duration of the efficacy.
I don’t appreciate all of the lies, coersion and threats of force. I don’t want to play their game.
I will be honest, I may have gotten them if the lockdowns, masking and vaccine mandates were never implemented. Because they were, I began to pay close attention to those around me who were vax injured. If I know one person, that’s too risky, but in fact I know more than one, which makes it statistically too risky for me. Thank God for the mandate push.
Keep the vaccine voluntary; let the ones who fear it learn from their mistake — maybe the hard way — if they are wrong. That how people grow.
Sounds like a plan...a good one.
I’m not anti-vaccine, I got my flu shot.
And my shingles shot, and my pneumonia shots.
Death isn’t a side effect. It’s the main event.
“Keep the vaccine voluntary; let the ones who fear it learn from their mistake”
What mistake?? The virus is no more lethal than the flu. Did you freak out about the flu?
The first red flag to me was that there were no footnotes on side effects, no comments on PSAs about side effects, no mass media coverage of side effects.
Every product has side effects.
My conclusion was either they were released too soon (before side effects were understood) or they were hiding them.
Either way—the vaccines were a no go with me.
I'm not anti-vax. I just support idea of “caveat emptor,” let the buyer beware, particularly after desperate Democrats are alleged to have stolen a presidential election.
After all, not only do Democrats and media blatantly ignore alleged evidence of widespread election fraud, but Dr. Fauci, Democrats and media are now unthinkingly expecting everybody to ignore concerns about possibly deadly problems associated with experimental mRNA technology imo.

I had the Fauci/China chimera coronavirus.
I do not need the clot shot.
I have better immunity that those who foolishly believed it works.
Choice over what you put into your own body is the more accurate description ... freedom and bodily sovereignty, not just that people 'don't want to be told what to do' - the media/vax nazis constantly warp 'bodily sovereignty' as if it's the equivalent of a 2 yo having a temper tantrum.
However, and it's deliberate, they never bring up the major legitimate concerns that the majority (I would say) of those who don't get the shots have that make the shots a "NO" decision .... the safety of the shots, the huge number of serious adverse effects/death, and the fact that it's not effective ... does not prevent you from getting COVID, nor does it prevent transmission, and the last reason for getting it ... that being you'll get a milder case/stay out of the hospital if you're jabbed ... even Dr. Fauci is admitting this is no longer true.
The shots are available to all that want them ... for those that want them, get them. For those that don't, leave us alone - we know the 'risks' and accept them
We are not anti-vaccine either but choose to have what we want inserted into us and choose what we DON’T want as well. We are certainly anti-coercion vaccine demands.
Almost like a 4th amendment thing.
Based on my general health and assessment of risk from the virus, my plan was to wait a year or more before getting the vaccine. From what I have seen since, I now don’t intend to take it at all. I suppose I’ll catch Omicron sooner or later, since I usually have a cold at some point each winter.
I don’t get flu shots, since I don’t recall ever having the flu in my life. Let the doctor talk me into a tetanus booster a few years ago, since I hadn’t had one in about 40 years. Keeping my fingers crossed re shingles; my wife suffered through that about 12 years ago and it looked like no fun at all.
