Don't know how lively this thread will be, but there is coverage of sorts going on so I figured it merited a thread for FReepers to comment on and post updates as they occur.
Since Kyle and the assailants are all white, I doubt if race will be an issue in the verdicts.
Evidently. Same for Portland, Seattle, Detroit, and a dozen other cities that President Dufus let happen without lifting a finger.
Judges are not swayed by the manipulations of the lawyers, so if the facts are clear, it's probably a good choice. I'm not sure if Rittenhouse had that option, but it might have been a good move.
The prosecutor in the Chauvin case got all 12 jurors to say guilty. Yes, the jurors there were afraid of riots. These jurors might be also.
Come on. The comment was obviously about how the MSM and left portray Kyle.
He’s got a badge on it looks like. Don’t know where he’s from. Could be Kenosha PD or county sheriff.
30 round clip.
The barrel grip is completely unnecessary. LOL
(only load 28 though)

Reading material while the jury deliberates
LOL! I must say!
Looks like government surveillance rig to me. Armored, gun hole. Might be the operator console for drones.
I don’t think Chauvin claimed self defense.
Still, I hope Kyle’s defense team is considering how the chanting could influence jury members and talking to the Judge. Why not move the jury, unannounced and in secret?
“””Especially if the judge has already to decided to end his career with this case.”””
Even though the Judge is 75 years old, he is not retiring soon. Last week he was telling the attorney’s to speed up the jury instructions and closing arguments debate, because he had a new case he wanted to start on Monday.

Wonder if prosecutor Binger feels this guy is breaking the law?
Ramos v. Louisiana makes clear that it needs to be unanimous in ANY criminal jury trial.
“I would think one person with a conscience would speak up”
And then that person would have to be concerned another juror would expose and leak their real name destroying their lives forever.
It is a scary proposition to be honest and have a conscience anymore. Self preservation for very legitimate reasons has now become a priority over morality.
It is a bad corner to be forced into. I just can’t help seeing too many holes and open doors for unjust jurors to take advantage of.
I know “that is how it is” but I really really don’t like it. It should be 12 period, and if they can’t keep all 12 until a verdict is reached then it is done... over... No verdict.
The conventional wisdom would be that if the jury comes back within two to six hours it’s an acquittal on all charges. Typically, most juries take their instructions seriously, and they will go through the various elements of each offense as per the instructions methodically before even taking a vote. Not all jurors hear or understand the instructions the same way, so just doing this can take hours and hours as they listen each other’s views and try to come to a consensus on how to apply the law. This is where you see notes going to the judge for clarification. Next they will discuss the evidence, and again, not all jurors will have heard or seen the same things, so they will go around multiple times trying to iron that out. This can take days. Eventually, they might get to the point where no further progress toward a unanimous vote is possible. One or two jurors might hold out for their position, and it becomes a coin toss whether the remaining jurors will agree to a compromise, or hold out until the judge declares a hung jury.
Thank you. I did not know that.
I noticed the illinois plate too. I assume it’s FBI.
