Family Research Council President Tony Perkins called on Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel to resign on the Todd Starnes Radio Show Wednesday.
The Christian conservative leader told host Todd Starnes that McDaniel announced the “RNC Pride Coalition” without consulting RNC leadership over the weekend.
“I think it’s time for her to take up something else and leave the party to those who I think can chart a path forward, restore what has been lost, and make sure that the Republicans, the conservatives regain the majority – both in Congress and continue to see victories in states across the nation,” Perkins said.
“I think she needs to step down,” Perkins said. “She has outlived her purpose at the RNC.”
The RNC is “embracing this agenda that is hostile to a large portion of their constituency,” Perkins said, adding that McDaniel is moving in a direction “incompatible” with religious liberty.

Perkins urged listeners to stop sending money to the RNC and instead support candidates directly or support organizations like FRC that will ensure values are not compromised.

Agree with Perkins. And, besides, Ms. McDaniel is Mittens’ niece. Enough said.

I definitely stopped sending money to the RNC following an onslaught of “you haven’t done enough” emails. I called. I politely asked about them. Some were supposedly blessed by Don jr.
No good answers. The RNC is not President Trump and they can’t fund raise off of him anymore. In fact, my donations will go to FreeRepublic throughout the year from now on.

Amen! to that. She’s GOPe which isn’t surprising considering who her uncle is. Another of Trump’s poor choices, appointing her to that position.
I’ll never get over the fact that she was partying with the high donors at an Amelia Island resort on 1/6/21. She should’ve been at Trump’s side supporting him that day and for weeks after.

McCarthy and McConnell are elected by the GOP members of House and Senate.
We have to replace most of them to get new leadership.
They are Assistant Democrats and that’s all they will ever be.
After the OC debacle during the 2018 midterms, I would have thought that McDaniel should have been shown the door. That Romney’s niece is still the RNC Chair is completely unacceptable to me and I have made no bones about stating this for the past year.
The niece of Mittens Romney is working more for her traitor uncle than for the Republican base which despises him. Ronna McDaniel has got to go.
