So many times we were left shaking our heads during the Trump Administration, wondering who in his Cabinet could be trusted. We saw many of their deeds as unpatriotic or deeply questionable.
We were shocked to learn earlier this week that Gen Mark Milley, JCOS chairman, has admitted in an upcoming book titled “Peril,” that he had back channels with his Chinese counterpart in case President Trump pulled some rogue maneuver following the stolen 2020 election.
Today, Trump’s former Defense Secretary, Mark Esper, rode to Milley’s defense, tweeting that the “White Rage Woke” Milley is a “person of impeccable integrity and professionalism.”
We just learned from General Paul Vallely that it was in fact Defense Secretary Mark Esper who arranged the back-channels for the Chinese talks. Both Milley and Esper were concerned that President Trump would go off half-cocked and launch nuclear missiles to defend his position, an unwarranted and ridiculous assumption, given the pro-military and anti-war agenda of President Trump.
No wonder President Trump had so much trouble accomplishing his goals! His cabinet was filled with yellow-bellied traitors!
Attorney General Bill Barr was equally disappointing, as it was he who proclaimed the steal of 2020 to be legitimate, urging President Trump to officially drop the issue.
Surrounded by traitors, our President was hamstrung at every turn.
God help us.

What is all this nonsense about Trump wanting a nuclear war? Everyone since WWII has known it would destroy the world. And Trump was the first president since Carter not to start a war.
They were pissed he wanted to end one..................
This is such an unfair, unwarranted claim by too many supposed conservatives here. (1) The FBI is supposed to do background checks on administration appointees. (2) If there is nothing in the background check that warrants concern, all you have left to go on is the person's claims about their points of view. (3) If the person lies to you about what's in their heart and mind, how can you possibly know the hidden truth about them?
Once in DC, everyone has to learn and follow the Democrat Line dance. If anyone is out of step, it effects decades and generations that are next in line not just in government but in every US industry.
I swear every politician is in it for personal wealth. If someone gets elected who isn’t they either soon are or soon get ousted by “the swamp”.

I had often wondered why Donald Trump had not made his first official act as president that of going through & firing most of the “dead wood” that he would have to work with. Probably because MOST of it was “dead wood” Democrats & Rinos.
Everybody back stabbed him. Even Bannon. They all leaked. Trump had a good vision, but had no idea how to bring about the change. He completely failed as a leader.
Trump or any President is not capable of personally vetting all his appointments. I don’t really know how that could be done. Maybe they could hire private investigators to do something like what’s done for top secret clearances, where they question people who have known them over the years. Maybe the next conservative President, if there is one, will actually have to do that.
So what? He, like most presidents, relied on the advice of others. The traitors set him up.
I believe Ivanka and Jared had a big say in appointments.

The chicanery and duplicity now being revealed would have been unimaginable under Ronald Reagan, but then, it was a time of more honorable men and women. Bush 41 and Bush 43 knowingly and almost openly tolerated this sort of urban guerrilla warfare within their own administrations, and Bill Clinton raised it to an art from, using these talents to his own advantage. Likewise with the “humble” Bronco Bama, who cultivated this kind of dissent and encouraged it at every turn, setting Americans against each other.
The ill effects of this growth of the counter-culture anti-American attitudes came to full blossom during the Trump Administration, and manifested as the “Trump Derangement Syndrome”, spilling into the streets and supposedly “neutral” academic circles. When it came time to choose his personal Cabinet, the pool was already badly contaminated with these “sleeper” agents of dissent and disarray, and only after they once had gotten into positions of power within the Administration, were they revealed for the charlatan characters they became. Nothing benign about it at all.

Do you not understand that every president relies on others to do this :vetting: .... he relies on the recommendations and counsel of others? He is not head of a damn HR department.
It amazes me that at every turn the scope and depth of the swamp reveals itself --- proudly --- and the target of their evil is held to account.
Good catch. Tells me that Esper and Milley were conspiring all along to undermine Trump. Traitors and should be prosecuted.
