I had often wondered why Donald Trump had not made his first official act as president that of going through & firing most of the “dead wood” that he would have to work with. Probably because MOST of it was “dead wood” Democrats & Rinos.
Agreed. I know people who worked in the Fed. Gov. who were fired day 1 of Biden admin. Biden then took away their COBRA health (unheard of) then instructed all gov. departments AND private businesses (not sure what the promised or threatened for this) NOT to hire anyone who had worked in the Fed Gov. while Trump was President (not even appointed by Trump, just in gov.) The Dems are much more Machiavellian and not at all “Work across the aisle” idiot Republicans. No surprise that Dems i know LOVED McCain, Romney, Murkowski, etc. Romney has an 80+ percent approval rating amongst Utah Democrats but is considered the the most hated man in Utah amongst Utah Republicans.
Unfortunately, most of the people we need to terminate are those protected by the Civil Service Acts. They are the true swamp creatures: Career Bureaucrats (e.g. Fauci).
Like Trump tried to do with the Department of Agriculture, we need to move every federal department out of Washington D.C., and make those bureaucrats live in the real world.
