As Biden Says Islam is Peaceful, D.C. Imam Calls for Jihad
PJ Media ^ | SEP 14, 2021 | ROBERT SPENCER

No sooner has Joe Biden reminded us that Islam is a peaceful religion than a Washington, D.C.-area imam comes along to spoil the love fest. Dr. Sulayman Ali Hassan preached a sermon recently at the Shahe Najaf Islamic Center in the D.C. suburb of Alexandria, Virginia, in which he makes it clear that jihad is an obligation on all Muslims and that it has a violent component.

Maybe Old Joe, being one of the world’s foremost Islamic clerics, can drop by the Shahe Najaf Islamic Center sometime soon and explain to the good Dr. Hassan how he is misunderstanding Islam. Until then, we can only hope that none of Dr. Hassan’s hearers decide that Islam is being attacked in a way that calls for a violent response.

...

Islam has emphasized that we should all be mujahid.” A mujahid is a warrior of jihad, or a jihadi.

...

May Allah allow all of us to enter Paradise through the gates of Jihad…. Jihad can be through funding and Jihad can be through struggling in person. Both of them are needed and both of them are important

...

Jihad is one of those things that brings a special grace of Allah.

...

The implications of having imams teaching this on American soil have not been explored; our law enforcement and intelligence agencies are dogmatically committed to the proposition that Islam is a religion of peace, and have abdicated their responsibility to understand the motives and goals of those who would destroy us.

So all we can do is hope that Hassan’s hearers’ minds were wandering and that they were more preoccupied with what was for lunch than with what he was saying. It’s a weak reed, but in this absurd age, it’s all we’ve got.

When it comes to Afghanistan why there has been a refusal to cite any religious purposes claimed by their actions When the 911 action was done by the Taliban That reasoning Perhaps began when President Bush was urged to be refrained from using the term crusade to fight them . Which was followed up not only by the media portraying the Christian use of the term not as defensive but as acts of agression and the so called (in name only) democratic party but later by by Christian leaders like Pope Francis refusing to approach exposing the Taliban for it being a theocracy following the sharia creed which denies free will and ridicule their claim they are authorized by Our Creator to execute non believers. but instead brags about working with them.
If that exposure was explored and the emphasis was placed on Our Savior’s activities bringing in the New Covenant there would be more conversions.

Frankenstein was invented although pieced together from parts of others.

Actually he had epileptic seizures than came up with a verse to suit him. There probably no voices in his head other than his own. FOr example the time he saw the legs of his step brother’s(could be Uncle who knows) wife and had him divorce her so he could marry her. Those weren’t voices in his head telling him to do that. That was his lust telling him to do that.

I will not defend Islime and that is not why I am here. People need to know the truth rather than make up stories that easily shot down and give credence to Islime.

While he pieced the so-called religion together he also talked to the Angel of Light in a cave who also helped him put together this so-called religion. And yet most Christians have no idea who the Angel of Light is. Because they associate light with good and heaven they associate the Angel of Light with good and godliness. Far from it. Remember God said let there be light. So how could the Angel of Light be evil in their eyes?

You cannot ask questions of Islime and some people on here won’t answer questions you ask them of Christianity. Are these two any different? Nope. Islime is the evil that infests the Earth. It must be eradicated however in the same breath has Naziism been eradicated?

This “Angel of Light” is not as unknown to Christians as you might think. God made many of them, but the most powerful of them was so enlightened that he wanted to be a god himself. And he still is. The stereotypical picture of Lucifer as a malevolent being is only true once you know who he really is. Until then, his message seems like pure goodness to us flawed people who only know the ways of the world. But God said “”For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”. This is how Lucifer was able to fool the whole world, and why he is the current god of it.

You are wrong a lot of Christians don’t know who that is. 3 out of 4 Christians that I have asked have no clue who that is much less associate it with Lucifer.

Lucifer was not the only fallen Angel as there were many of them. They came to Earth and mated with humans to create the Nephilim. Nephilim (found in Genesis 6:1-6, Numbers 13:33 and more notably the Book of Enoch) are the offspring of an Angel and human, typically a woman as not all fallen Angels were male. Nephilim, or someties called The Watchers, can be the reason for the Flood.

However, the Church wants us not to remember the fallen angels and their proclivities here on this planet. They would d rather we forget it thus the deception of the Church is to promulgate a false narrative about the flood. The recent Noah movie took this premise and was castigated for it. Not saying the movie is completely true nor is it entirely fiction when it comes to the Watchers or Nephilim.

The way the Church wants you to believe is that Lucifer was the only fallen Angel. I know because I was taught this in Sunday school a long time ago. In a sense it could be argued that the Angels are the offspring of the Gods so they would or could be considered as demigods. While Lucifer is still an Angel, or demigod if you prefer, he is not a full fledged god and can never become one.

Lucifer was given this Kingdom and Jesus was given the Kingdom of Heaven. But if Jesus was given the Kingdom of Heaven and Lucipher this Kingdom who gave it to themm?

"The way the Church wants you to believe is that Lucifer was the only fallen Angel."

Depends on the church I guess. I was always told (I'm Catholic) that when Lucifer (Satan) fell, one third of the angels fell with him. I assume that's derived from Revelation, but there may be other sources.

The source, the Book of St. John’s Revelations (shortened to the Book of Revelations), you state is actually wrong.

FYI: there is no single verse in the Bible that makes the claim that one-third of Angels fall with Lucifer. Not a single one states this, not even in the Book of Revelations.

HOWEVER, Satan has been referred as a star that has been cast down or fell down to Earth. In Revelations 12:4 it states a third of the stars were cast down with him. The conclusion one gathers from this is that since Lucifer was referred to a star so too must other Angels and therefore one-third of the Angels were cast down or fell to Earth. Revelations does not go any further than this. Since this is left up to interpretation of the reader, it cannot be logically assumed that those stars are Angels because Jesus says in Luke 10:18 that Satan fell like lightning, not a star. But is Satan, Lucifer, a star? lightning? or an enormous dragon (Revelations 12:3-9)? And if like John witnessed the dragon swept one third of the stars and cast them down to Earth, was this by force or did those stars go willingly?

Are Angels, the sons of Gods, really demigods? If we look at Greek mythology, we see the results of a human and god mating as demigods. And if these are demigods would this not put the whole ideology of Abrahamic religions at risk? And now you know why they, man, chose to leave out certain books when creating the compendium we call the Bible. Better to be ambiguous than to risk the whole ideology of Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity and yes, Islime).

I don’t know what your contention is. Lucifer is a fallen angel. Check. There are many fallen angels. Check. Regardless of how Lucifer fell, like lightening or as a star, he fell. Does it matter? It’s metaphorical. For our benefit because we don’t understand metaphor so well, Jesus described him as the father of lies and a murderer from the beginning. I don’t see the need to debate it.
