Gov. Gavin Newsom is fighting for his political life, according to recent polling. (Shutterstock) An analysis of the latest polls by elections website FiveThirtyEight indicates that California’s Sept. 14 gubernatorial recall is too close to call.
The analysis says that 48.8% of California voters oppose the recall. Removal of first-term Gov. Gavin Newsom is backed by 47.6%.
FiveThirtyEight says that its analysis includes “an updating average of 2021 California gubernatorial recall election polls, accounting for each poll’s quality, recency, and sample size.”

Elder Top Replacement Candidate in Polls
The other big takeaway offered by FiveThirtyEight: 19.3% of voters would replace Newsom with Republican Larry Elder.
Democrat Kevin Paffrath is second at 9.1%, followed by Republican John Cox at 6.1%, among the replacement candidates.
They are getting ready to resurrect dead Californians to make sure he stays in office.
No way they will allow their Golden Boy to go down.
They want him in 2024.
Seems like a single box of ballots could really tip this in Newsom’s favor. Better use 3, just to be sure.
The fake polls set up the voter to accept the outcome. The out come is controlled through massive vote fraud. They are two sides of the same coin.
Whether recall is successful is probably a function of the extent of Dem voter fraud. I am not sending in my ballot. I am walking it to the poll in my neighborhood.

I’m not a Californian or in the know but everyone knows the state is a wacky place that loves big government. Elder represents small, more responsible government. Californians by and large don’t seem to want that. I don’t foresee him getting recalled. JMHO

Newsom will prevail, called “The Comeback Kid”, and then it’s on to 2024.
Agree. Losing one of their “stars” would be too big a blow to the party. They’ve already lost Cuomo. They’ll find a way to engineer Newsom’s survival.

Agreed. “Too close to call?” No problem to the California Democrat/Communist/Left Party ... “we’ve got this handled”. And, as at the national level, the California GOP is only involved for show.
