Yep, too late. The zips have already come through the southern border. We'll be competely overrun unless there is a divine air assault on our mark.

How convenient!

Thank goodness Obama’s bday party was last week.

I was going to comment that the poppy fields are fair game. Might be the only positive that comes out of this FUBAR.

This would be a good time for the Democrats to legalize weed.

What makes you think they won't cheat for those?

I was thinking of getting a new Hmmwv but its so hard to get one right now with Covid and the disruption to the supply chain. Do you think the Taliban will start putting some up for sale? Maybe I can get one shipped back on the last plane out...

It’s not on Biden - it’s on Bush. If we had irradiated the place in 2001 there would have been no need for 20 years of casualties and trillions in spending. Nobody would have faulted a strong response after 9/11. Now it is too late.

We did not learn the lesson from Vietnam. Go in with overwhelming force (a la WW II) and crush your enemy or don’t go at all.

Afghanistan has been unsuccessfully invaded for centuries, most recently by the Soviets. Who could be so foolish to think we would succeed where so many others have failed?

From patriots.win:

In case you didn’t realize: Biden likely had people working on Pillow Mechant’s symposium instead of the Afghanistan situation. 🧠 STABLE GENIUS 🧠

You could do one with Biden and the girl would be the Congressional Republicans, they act as if they are really scared of him.

Hmmmm...but how could they not have heeded the lessons of history?

Has no-one of them ever been reading a proper history book? I really ask myself this...

No doubt about it, but please remember that even a broken clock is right every 12 hours.

This is an ancient saying, I know, but it still rings true today, imho.

Post #7 - Seriously, did Trump think the Taliban would hold up their end AND not revert to their old ways? The whole point of Doha was to hand the country over to the Taliban on a silver platter, and it cut the Kabul government out of the loop.

Trump wanted the American presence out of Afghanistan. He struck a great deal... With the Taliban, in Doha.

The only thing he would’ve done differently to Boden if he’d still been in office is evacuate all the Americans before letting the Taliban sack the country.

The USA funded military equipment was already being handed over to the Taliban by local, regional commanders and deserting army men this time last year.

Wars are nothing more than covers for weak politicians and arms manufacturers to profit mightly. Remember the military industrial complex thingy?

That complex has been replaced by a regimented goon squad hurling lies&propaganda and being supported by social media sites and media that is no longer bound by any rules anytime.

The Left does not hide its hatred for this country and its people. It is the cancer within.. recent events confirm the diagnosis.

I wonder how many ‘trust fund’ babies can afford to protest our flag as they get funding from “unknown” or unidentified sources.
