The police officer who abducted, raped and murdered Sarah Everard could spend the rest of his life in prison, it emerged today, as a second opportunity for him to have been stopped earlier was revealed.
PC Wayne Couzens, 48, will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to murder today and Lord Justice Fulford told the Old Bailey that he was considering a whole life tariff.

I always thought life there meant 25 yrs tops
They changed the law in 2003 to allow, in grave cases, a whole life sentence.
It is very rarely given..

Oh real tough - he has to pay an extra tax for the rest of his life. No wonder they have so much crime in the UK.
They should bring back hanging (pay per view) with all money received going to the victim’s family.
Then I’d say that his sentence is going to be relatively short . . . so far as “this” life is concerned.

I think the public will demand it & he will get it .
