'Today, history was made in our church! ELM celebrates a church that now recognizes the gifts of queer leaders like Bishop-elect Rohrer and we anticipate the day when all queer ministry leaders will be called to ministry settings without hindrance or barrier and will be affirmed in their God-given calls.'

At this rate, when Christ returns there won’t be many left to greet him.

These are NOT the Missouri Synod Lutherans, folks. These are the unbiblical heretical Lutherans.

He won’t last long. Next week he’ll want to identify as the Pope. More money in that religion.

I must be the only person who still believes trannys are mentally ill and should not be empowered.

Playing church white actively rejecting the knowledge of the Lord ends in disaster for those doing so.

She identifies as a He and uses the pronouns “They/them”. It goes on to say “their” children. Shouldn’t it be “they” children? They/them should get their act together.

And the Great American Freak Show continues! The ELC nut-jobs may call themselves Lutherans, but they are nothing less than demonic heretics.

How many congregants does this perverse faction have?

ELCA has over three million baptized members.

“These are NOT the Missouri Synod Lutherans, folks. These are the unbiblical heretical Lutherans.”

Nor are they the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
The ELCA has long given Lutherans a bad rep.

No you aren’t the only person to think that. But nowadays, powers that be in all institutions have decided we need to promote and celebrate all these LGBT peoples. And they get high positions and such actions are said to be making history for equal rights, civil rights etc.

It seems simple. Anyone can come to church, but leadership positions require certain skills and are not for everybody . And significant mental illness is not really a positive when it comes to leadership. But insanity rules these days.

3 million baptized and confirmed but I imagine not in the pew as adults. We left soon after the merger and subsequent “studies/votes” on homosexual issues/abortion, etc. But when ELCA helped fund the World Council of Churches sponsored “Re-Imagining Jesus” workshops where they used milk and honey to represent the fluids from a woman instead of bread and wine for communion, a feminist theologian declared there is no need for a bloody Jesus, and other heresies, we were gone. Local church was afraid of keeping our donations local so we left. So glad we did. I grieve for that church and the members left.
