Forgive my stupidity but by what authority does the executive branch has any say in filibusters? --
Presidents generally run on legislative policy. Strikes me odd. "Trump tax cut," but taxes are SOLELY Congress.
Congress is a do nothing institution. It just rubber stamps or objects to executive branch and lobbyist proposals.
