And anyone who might be convicted such get the hot shot...as is the case,IMO,in *all* cases of 1st Degree murder.
Ok, this just happened within the last couple days. I should think the investigators would look first into the victim’s background and rule out personal animus before spreading a hate crimes dragnet. Does this woman not want the victim and her family and associates investigated? Is she hiding something and wants to point the finger elsewhere?

A 28-year-old Asian mother has died in a fatal shooting in Compton.
Sia Marie Xiong, mother to a 3-year-old child, was killed on Saturday just before 6am on the 1600 block of East Kay Street.
A spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Department said the woman, who was of Cambodian, Black and Native American descent, was not believed to be a victim of a hate crime. However, the department added that the suspect’s motivation has not been identified yet.
Xiong’s family nonetheless believe the attack was racially motivated and are calling for a hate crime investigation.
“The backdrop is of course the rise in Asian hate crimes,”said the family’s lawyer, Toni Jaramilla, in an interview.
“We’re looking to see if the Sheriff’s Department can look at it with that lens,” Jaramilla added.
Xiong’s aunt Akeisa Lowe said her niece was a high achiever in high school and earned a scholarship to San Diego State University.
“She was a sweet kid,” Lowe said. “I can’t even imagine who would hate her this much.”

Are Asians stupid or are easily deceived? Do they really embrace the delusional, politically correct Democrat narrative and believe that “white supremacists” are killing them? Maybe they are dumb. They tend to vote for Democrats. Even after the Korean grocers in Brooklyn were targeted and in some cases murdered by their fellow Democrats, Korean Americans in the NY/NJ metropolitan still vote Democrat. May be good at rote learning but not very intuitive or street smart.
Not necessarily - but the Chinese community, at least, contains embedded CCP operatives who constantly strive to amplify Beijing’s messages. Not unlike the way BLM claims to be the voice of all of black America - if you didn’t know better, you might believe it.
Given the rise in Asian Americans being murdered and the hate crimes against Asian American....Has anyone see proof of such?
Two presidents--Bush 41 and 43--once lived in Compton, which Barbara Bush described as "lovely." My aunt grew up in this lovely college town.
Mixed black and Asian. Relatives with Af.Am. names. Son named Shakur.
Domestic/associate murder as likely as stranger hate crime.
