Republicans in Congress faced growing blowback on Monday from businesses that said they would cut off campaign contributions to those who voted last week to challenge President-elect Joe Biden's victory.
The announcements by Amazon.com, General Electric Co, Dow, AT&T, Comcast Corp, Verizon Communications, American Express Co, Airbnb, Best Buy and Mastercard, among others, threaten to throttle fundraising resources for Republicans who will soon be out of power in the White House and both chambers of Congress.
AT&T and Comcast, for example, are among the biggest corporate donors in Washington.

I’m OK with that.
Ahh - the same racist corps that all supported BLM and AntiFa riots all summer and tell us how evil white people are.
How surprising.
BestBuy ....wow .... well, just about every computer we’ve bought from there died within 2 yrs anyway ....
We’re making our lists out here in America.
They don’t support Republicans anyway!!!
Just more to add to the never purchase from if humanly possible in anyway list. :D. Actually kind of fun to eliminate them as options and put my money elsewhere.
How is this a problem? None of these companies donations goto Republicans
Damn, I have a few complaints to write.
When will people understand this?
The only reason two parties exist is to give voters the illusion of choice.
If Deep State has now decided to rip off that fig leaf, that means they don’t care what voters think anymore.
And if that’s the case, that is freaking terrifying.
Wipe out free speech for Conservative groups and Republicans.....you have one political party existing..... though opposition parties are allowed they have no real chance of gaining power.
......”if that’s the case, that is freaking terrifying”......
That looks to be how it’s going ...these past 4 years clearly shows they on’t give a rats butt what the peoples rights are or the laws states.

Once bought a dvd player from them ages ago. After only a few months, it broke down. I brought it back to the store to be repaired.
For some reason they couldnt contact their repair center over their computers, so they let me choose a new dvd player of equal value off of their shelves as a replacement. I chose one that was ten bucks more expensive, so i had to pay the extra ten bucks difference. I took it home and it wouldnt play right out of the box!
I brought this one back to the best buy store and i asked for an immediate replacement again or my money back. But this time they were able to make contact with their repair center and refused me the trade. Insisting they fix this one for me, making me wait 2-3 weeks for it to be fixed.
After they fixed it and returned it to me, it played ok for only 6 months before it broke down for good on me again.
This time i threw up my hands and went elsewhere for a new dvd player which lasted me a few years. I never stepped foot in a Best Buy store since. (The one i went to is still open for business today. God knows how)
After they came out with blu ray players, i couldnt afford a new one. So i went to ebay and managed to snag a used blu ray player for only ten bucks. When it got shipped to me, the blu ray player had a big, nasty dent in the casing which wasnt mentioned in the item description.
Still, it played beautifully. So i didnt crab. That was quite a few years ago and my used blu ray player with the dent still works very nicely today. A heck of a lot longer than the new dvd players i bought from best buy.
I'd like to contribute something to each of their campaigns.
Who cares? I’ll never give them a dime either. *shrug*
add ge and best buy to the growing list
The PURGE is on!!
To be honest, only a fool would donate to the GOP anyhow.
No politician likes their pocketbook to be attacked. There will be definite blowback by the repubes only because it is their pocketbook that was hit. Money is the blood of DC. No money and you get regulated out of existence.
I’ll be contacting the GOP this next week or so that I’m out...and why. Not that they’ll give a hoot..but I’ll be better for it .
GOP is dead to us anyway, glad to see it
