The police officer who shot Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt dead has been suspended and the incident is currently under investigation.
Babbitt was shot in the neck at almost point blank range during yesterday’s chaos in DC during the storming of the Capitol building.
Footage of the shocking incident clearly shows that non-lethal measures could have been used against Babbitt, who served her country during a 14 year stint in the Air Force.
The officer who shot Babbitt, who was wearing a suit and positioned inside the Senate chamber when he opened fire, has now been suspended pending an investigation.
US Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund also said that there would be a “thorough review” of security measures following the incident.
Sund said in his statement that officers had acted “valiantly” against rioters who “actively attacked United States Capitol Police Officers and other uniformed law enforcement officers with metal pipes, discharged chemical irritants, and took up other weapons against our officers.”
As we highlighted earlier, some leftist commentators called for police to shoot Trump supporters before Babbitt was killed, while others gloated over her death on Facebook and Twitter.
Three other people died during the bedlam, but authorities have only revealed that they were killed as a result of “medical emergencies.”
Immediately after the shooting, mainstream media journalists such as Huffington Post’s Matt Fuller falsely claimed that Trump supporters were shooting into the chamber, when the opposite was true.
Unless you are in the military, please DO NOT USE the term CIVILIAN when referring to your fellow CITIZENS! All members of all police forces are also “civilians”, but are (more accurately) fellow citizens entrusted with the enforcement of our laws. They are most emphatically NOT military, though they do like to play at it with all the gear they end up with.
Only MILITARY members can legitimately use the term civilian to refer to non-military members. That certain police want to further separate themselves from the citizenry they supposedly *serve* by using military terminology is only ONE of the symptoms of the dysfunctional, irrational split happening between the police forces and citizens.
Words mean things, and certain words can be used to drive a wedge between otherwise homogenous groups (eg the law abiding community and the law enforcement community).

Has ANYONE here analyzed the photo that shows the trigger WOMAN'S hand? Anyone who says the shooter is wearing GLOVES is WRONG WRONG WRONG.. Those are pudgy fingers and thumb you're seeing in the photo.
I am VERY adept at photo analysis and I am 99% SURE the shooter is a black FEMALE with fingernail polish that is CLEARLY shown on her thumbnail in the photo!
isn’t it strange that the same people who have been howling at “defund the police” for the last 8 months were calling on the same police to shoot Trump voters and defend the Capitol. I didn’t hear any of them talking about shooting Black Lies Matter or Antifa thugs, rioters, looters, vandals, and arsonists.

The suited man deliberately shot and murdered Ashli Babbitt who presented no threat to him or anyone else nearby even if she had eventually climbed through the door window into an empty hallway.
The Deep State will no doubt make the video go away and claim that it was one of the Trump supporters who murdered Ashli.

Watching the video. The guy that shoots her doesn’t even know whether she is an employee of the capital that is trying to escape a mob behind her. She could have been a cleaning lady or cook in the cafe. He just shoots her climbing thru the window. no “police... stay where you are” command. nothing. bang your dead.
