ATLANTA - Democrats won one hotly contested U.S. Senate race in Georgia on Wednesday and pulled ahead in a second, edging closer to control of the chamber and the power to advance Democratic President-elect Joe Biden’s policy goals when he takes office this month.
Democratic challenger Raphael Warnock beat Republican incumbent Kelly Loeffler, TV networks and Edison Research projected. Democrat Jon Ossoff held a narrow lead over Republican David Perdue in the other race, with a final outcome not expected until later on Wednesday.
With 98% reporting, Warnock was ahead of Loeffler by 1.2 percentage points, roughly 50,000 votes, while Ossoff led Perdue by more than 12,000 votes, according to Edison Research.
Democrats must win both contests to take control of the Senate. A Democratic sweep would create a 50-50 split in the Senate and give Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, as president of the Senate, the tie-breaking vote after she and Biden take office on Jan. 20. The party already has a narrow majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.

How childish.
Notice all the vote counters are blacks? Hardly ever see whites counting the votes.
It’s every major city in this country, in every state that has become an un-American socialist, lazy, electronic game playing, brainwashed vermin, who have created this destruction of America—and with a lot of help by the republiturd establishment!!!!
Sorry but as they say ALL politics is local. Democrats have consistently lost seats
in legislatures nationwide.
The GOP needs to start putting working class candidates on their tickets for Federal office. So much for these millionaire air heads. That’s why the Republican senators in Georgia lost. Fat and sassy candidates are easy to spot....
Wake up or die GOPe............
Does this surprise anyone. They are going to cheat again. Same machines and same way. Only this time they know they have enough fake ballots laying around that they won’t need to stop counting.
One problem is McConnell is perfectly happy being a minority leader and caving on key issues and sipping at whatever Schumer throws in the trough. There's plenty of money to be spent bribing Manchin and others to vote to raise taxes on reconciliation votes, etc.
Our only real "hope" at this point is the dems dissolve the filibuster and go too far grabbing guns and banning fracking. But they aren't stupid, we have the stupid party. So they won't. The LIVs will be cooked on slow heat and stay in the pot.
And Loeffler waitressed her way to a half billion dollars then got a secret brief on the China flu and then sold her stock. And still they voted against her.
No! We are better than that (to copy Democrats and commit fraud)
How long will Republicans keep this holier than thou mentality?Answer: Until they become irrelevant minority for decades.
Next time I will strive to be more lucid.

Lol. /golf claps
It would be easier to find a better candidate than Loeffler than finding a candidate worse than Warlock. The idiots won this one.
I would so like to hit the like button if we had a like button, but since like is another of those bastardized English words, like gay like you know? It gives me paws to reflect on the European example of third party election... I can’t think of the word right this minute. What do you call it when someone gives away the movie ending when you haven’t seen it? Pause to look it up...
Ahhh, spoiler, so in many European countries, the third or fourth party becomes the election spoiler for the larger and perhaps more popular candidate or parties and thus is drawn into a party coalition in support of... wait for it... the lesser of four or five evils.
This quote in your post got my attention, “More broadly, it opens the market for conservatives”. I guess I would take issue with the statement in this regard, the lines are being more finely drawn today, between political movements, and when one gets to what I call the bottom line, the battle between good and evil as understood by our original parents, you realize that all things political are all things good vs bad.
How does that relate to the multi-party system? If one used party platform as the basis for decision, and we are as a country a two party system, the Republican platform should be sufficient evidence as to which party, conservatives, Christians, Families, believers in a Creator and Natures Law, lovers of the principles behind the founding of the united States of America. Notice the lower case U in united, would of necessity be members of the Republican Party.
Remaining a two party system, we perhaps avoid the pitfalls and problems of the multi-party system, and hope that there are more of us than there are of those opposing everything this country was built on. The Georgia elections and the perceived corruption are evidence of the degree to which the enemy must go to win, when truth and right attempt to prevail. Acknowledging the fact the Republican party is infested with those desiring a one party globalist system and are diligently working toward that goal.
Just my humble opinion. Could be we are due for some more serious lessons, for those of us desiring Liberty and freedom, before we are able to right the ship of State our forefathers sacrificed so much to give us
How about a little in the mosh?
Yes indeed. Remember Rhodesia, a prosperous modern, self sufficient society, before it became Zimbabwe? Zimbabwe is a basket case which cannot even feed itself and many Whites persecuted and killed in the name of racial equality. Their currency was destroyed and they are now a beggar state. That is out future IMO.
“I think it’s more like the Republicans continue to let the Democrats steal elections.”
You are EXACTLY correct!!
While everyone has been years blaming the obvious democrats, “our” Republicans have been cozying up with the Dems and learning they could benefit by quietly stabbing us in the back.
Therefore I believe the Republican Party will be remade or replaced. Clearly, the Democrat party has overreached and will overreach but the question is whether Democrat-controlled elections will be free and honest enough for the historic system to function and cause the Democrats to lose their majority.
If looking unlikely today, decent elections are not necessarily a lost cause when the Democrats turn on each other and cause ruptures in their own party.
The fraud is with us.
Who are the “imperfect allies?”
100% right
Bread & Circuses.
We all know this election is stolen the same way the November one was stolen, but just as long as the sheeple are entertained they will stay obedient.
