Let's get to Washington! The DC weather forecast for January 6th is good and rooms are still available.

There are still hotel/motel rooms available in the Washington area for the nights of January 5th and 6th. I had no reservation before this morning and just made one for Vienna, Virginia. That Courtyard by Marriott is only a four-minute walk to the Dunn Loring Fairfax Metro station for the Orange Line subway trains.

The latest weather forecast has the high for January 6th at 45F and the low will be 31. It is expected to be "mostly sunny".

When more of the schedule of events is established we Freepers may chose a place to meet. After the main festivities perhaps we can get together by the north side of the Air and Space Museum which is only three and a half short blocks from the Capitol Reflecting Pool.

Your tagline reminds me of my dear old boss, Senator Jesse Helms of North Carolina. He proudly called himself “Senator No” after the press had criticized him as such.

I will be very disappointed if it is less than a million deplorables.

I’m going and bringing a friend. Leaving tomorrow and planning to take turns driving straight through until we get there late Monday/early Tuesday.

Bringing camping gear to be self supportive if a room cannot be had, or in the event we cannot get to the hotel.

Friend is leaving Salinas, CA, and driving to PHX, to pick me up. 2,300 miles from my house to DC. About 700 miles from my friend’s house to my house.

Planning for street combat/escort duties, and occupation capabilities. Gloves, boots, safety glasses, helmet, chemical mask, bear spray, knife and sheath, backpack, and a few things that I won’t be putting down here today that are for self preservation.

I started Ron Chernow's "Washington: A Life" a few days ago. Is that one of the better ones?

The Christmas episode of Steve Bannon's War Room had Patrick O'Donnell on; his "Washington's Immortals" sounds very good.

Good list. It's worth noting that the farthest stops on the Blue Line - Franconia/Springfield and Van Doren - are supposed to open tomorrow, but who knows.

If you’re looking for a place to eat in the District and the eateries aren’t closed due to Covid, the Hawk ‘n’ Dove on Capitol Hill serves great food. Although it’s a ways from where the action is going to be, Ben’s Chile Bowl on U St. NW near 13th Street is great if you like chile. It’s just around the corner from Jeni’s ice cream shop on 14th Street, where Nancy Pelosi gets her ice cream with which she fills her freezer.

You may also be able to eat in the House and Senate cafeterias. I believe the House cafeteria is in the Longworth House Office Building and the Senate cafeteria is in the Russell Senate Office building.

POSTED ON CITIZEN FREE PRESS

SOURCE — Sundance: President Trump and Dan Scavino confirmed the specific location in DC with a video from TrumpMarch.Com

The January 6th rally in Washington DC is shaping up to be the largest ever assembly in Washington DC history.

Millions are inbound. From what can be ascertained from social media and grassroots communication, the scale is growing exponentially now.

The video confirms what we anticipated before. The primary venue for assembly and speaker content will be focused on The Elipse, a 52-acre park south of the White House fence and north of Constitution Avenue and the National Mall; however the recommendation is now to arrive before 9am on the date of the event.

President Trump has confirmed that he will be participating at the massive event. Additionally, for those traveling to Washington DC , here’s some advice and helpful tips from a person who lives in the area – SEE HERE.

Links to more information at CFP.COM: – SEE HERE – and – SEE HERE – and SEE HERE

Also an additional warning.

Be prepared for the DC metro to be SHUT DOWN as part of a crowd control strategy. If as many people arrive as we are currently anticipating to see, literally in the millions, you could/should expect DC Mayor Bowser to order the DC metro rail system to shut down.

That tea party rally was huge. It was a beautiful day out. the signs were imaginative. It was very family friendly too. A day I’ll always remember.

Me, too. It was an incredible event. Too bad it was kept such a deep, dark secret by the media.

This one will be bigger, and will be kept a deep, dark secret by the media.
