Well we don’t seem to have flu anymore, its all covid and mutants all the time now....
There are apparently four other seasonal corona viruses that have been around for some time. Covid-19 is the fifth.
So I guess the answer to your question is yes.
What makes it more easily transmitted? Does it have spike proteins? Does it interact with the ACE2 receptor?

Who knows how they are spreading this virus. . .planes? drones? maybe intentionally in mail? God may be lifting His hedge of protection off this country for our nation’s turning our backs on Him. Keep praying for the Lord’s protection.
The fact that the fearmongers want to keep up the fear and hysteria is what makes it more easily transmitted.
yeah - no flu about - which is only another reason to exercise skepticism. i don’t believe the numbers at all and haven’t for months. i think they are mapping this new strain here in SoCal. we’ll see what they learn. right now, i see scare tactics - which may be because the health officials did not prepare adequately for the winter siege, whether it is flu or covid. they need a cover story.
We just need two weeks to break the curve.
