Tuberville said on top of the hour news he plans to get with Mo Brooks and see what he can do to help President Trump. Not afraid of a fight and hopes to help form a coalition of members of Congress to fight for the president.

Yay! Sounds like Alabama made a good choice!

Let’s get some more Senators to object!

Mo Brooks would be a senator from Alabama except that Trump endorsed somebody else in the primary - Luther something, an establishment favorite - who went on to lose.

Trumps lousy hires and endorsements have done him in.

Ok as I read this, this is enough to force Pence to adjourn to recess and make both the House and the Senate debate the Objection.

Again, it's all about establising the Mummy as an illegitimate, puppet-state installation. Going to need Trump people in the streets of DC to drive this home.

Joint Session Challenges to Electoral Vote Returns

"While the tellers announce the results, Members may object to the returns from any individual state as they are announced. Objections to individual state returns must be made in writing by at least one Member each of the Senate and House of Representatives. If an objection meets these requirements, the joint session recesses and the two houses separate and debate the question in their respective chambers for a maximum of two hours. The two houses then vote separately to accept or reject the objection. They then reassemble in joint session, and announce the results of their respective votes. An objection to a state’s electoral vote must be approved by both houses in order for any contested votes to be excluded. For additional information, see CRS Report RL32717, Counting Electoral Votes: An Overview of Procedures at the Joint Session, Including Objections by Members of Congress, coordinated by Elizabeth Rybicki and L. Paige Whitaker"

Jell was sworn in immediately because he won the seat McCain had when he died. McSally was appointed until the election.

Nah. Can’t blame that one on Trump. I voted for Mo but he didn’t have a chance. It was a battle between Roy Moore and Luther Strange. Mo was an also ran and wasn’t even close to matching the name recognition and money of Roy and Big Luther.

The fact that 7 states accepted and sent votes for two sets of electors should stand for something:

Pennsylvania 20 votes

Georgia 16 votes

Michigan 16 votes

Wisconsin 10 votes

Arizona 11 votes

Nevada 6 votes

New Mexico 5 votes

According to new common core math that would be 84 votes. Does that mean that Mike Pence decides which submitted votes to accept and count?

No would have had a chance if Trump had endorsed him. Trump never built up an army of MAGA candidates in primaries.
