I’m not a lawyer, so I don’t understand “the New California State and New Nevada State” names being used.

New states? Splitting states? What?

From the document:

“New California State and New Nevada State
are directly impacted by the arbitrary and capricious
changes in election laws and procedures occur with
unfortunate regularity in the current States of
California and Nevada.

Part of the reason for the formation of New
California State and New Nevada Sate is to stop the
lawless actions of Governors Newsome (California)
and Sisolak (Nevada).”

Middle and Southern Virginia should secede from Northern Virginia as well.

Northern Virginia’s suburbs are awash with D.C. Deep Staters.

Arlington County used to be part of the District of Columbia. Virginia should give it back, and toss in Alexandria and Fairfax County as bonuses. The rest of Virginia would have voted for Trump in 2016 without those three entities. (I don’t know about 2020.)

It is likely the US will split up in some fashion, but it makes for most sense for the big cities to become self-governing city-states. If they behave themselves, the other regions will sell them food. ;-)

Trump would have won both times without voter fraud.

I wish the Eastern Shore of Maryland would also break away. The Eastern Shore is nothing like the Western Shore, although I’ve noticed we’ve started becoming invaded the last few years.

Very likely.

From 1952 to 2004, the Republican candidate carried Virginia in every election except for 1964.

In James Michener's novel Chesapeake, he has a political movement in eastern Maryland, pre-Civil War, to unite the whole Delmarva peninsula as one state. I don't know if that was based on any real efforts in that area in the 19th century.

I don’t see how this is helpful.

I’ve heard about the novel for years but have never read it. Will pick it up.

There is a quiet move in Michigan to one night slip down to Detroit, saw it off, float it over to Canada and super glue it there.

Some say we are thinking too small and we should just saw off the whole of Wayne county and then let it sink.

They are limited companies.

Jesus wept. Every time it looks like the campaign to get SCOTUS to take a serious position on credible case brought by the grown ups finally, another retarded dipshit intervention lands, like “two fantasy states wish to register their totally unprovable butt hurt”.

Is it too much of a stretch to suggest that RAT trolls posted that in, because it couldn’t be more troll like if the docket had been crafted in multicolor Comic Sans.

I read it a long time ago but as I recall it is set in the area of Choptank River/Cambridge. As in other novels (e.g., Hawaii) he has episodes in the same location over a wide span of time. He makes that area seem to be an appealing place to live...with excellent seafood.

The British captured Detroit during the War of 1812. Maybe we should have insisted that they keep it.

We could maintain that returning it was a war crime I suppose.

Although at the time Detroit was not that bad.
