Superstar rapper Waka Flocka Flame thinks President Donald Trump “is a better president” than Barack Obama.

The comments came when the 34-year-old rapper responded to a post on Instagram from DJ Akademiks who wrote on his social media page that, “The big homie [Barack Obama] violated [Donald Trump] at a rally event today,” per Revolt TV in a piece published Thursday. The popular rappers siding with Trump over the last week or two MAY be the reason for the dramatic rise in AA support for Trump we’ve been seeing in the Rasmussen poll.

I'm pretty sure it isn't - black males in general are far more favorably inclined toward Trump than they ever were for Bush, McCain or Romney. The rappers are simply part of that trend, and because they're in the entertainment business which despises Trump, they are lagging the trend, not leading it.

Trump isn't going to get the majority of African-American votes - black women of any age are solidly Democrat, as are older black men. And I'd guess Biden will bet more of the young black male vote than Trump will. But Trump is still going to get a higher percentage of the young black male vote than any Republican has gotten since post-Civil War times. He is making serious inroads into the young black male vote.

Since the GOP is far too stupid to learn, I'd expect that this trend will disappear as soon as Trump leaves office.

I agree wholeheartedly. Heck, I'll even take the support of non-citizens! Some of President Trump's loudest defenders are foreigners who understand America's position in the world and how it affects them.

Point however, President Trump needs every last vote and if this rapper that most of the old men yelling at clouds over here on Free Republic have never heard of can bring in more votes for the president's re-election, we need to welcome them!
