The NYT confirms President Trump was telling the truth about being under audit(and tax refund was from bill Obama signed)

The New York Times is out with a huge scoop and somehow obtained thousands of tax returns for President Trump and related entities going back “more than two decades”:

The New York Times has obtained tax-return data extending over more than two decades for Mr. Trump and the hundreds of companies that make up his business organization, including detailed information from his first two years in office. It does not include his personal returns for 2018 or 2019. This article offers an overview of The Times’s findings; additional articles will be published in the coming weeks.

So, who leaked it?

Any GOOD businessman would take advantage of being able to get a refund

Actually it his accountants that have a feduciary responsibility to take advantage of those deductions. If they didn't, they would be guilty of malpractice.

They also have a obligation under penalty of perjury to declare that the information contained in the tax return is honest and accurate

So what are they supposed to do? prepare tax return that makes trump pay millions and unnecessary taxes?

That in itself would be a fraudulent tax return

Now Biden is out not coincidentally with commercials “contrasting” taxes paid by teachers and firefighters to make it look like this is all so unfair

The ad itself is what’s unfair is misleading and coordinated but typically dishonest by Biden, the New York Times and the left

they can’t be honest about anything

And so it turns out that Obama was the one who fed to the DNC that Trump paid no taxes, because he was the one that signed the audit.

Presidents don't sign audits; however, they do sign tax bills into law that create ways for taxpayers to legally reduce their taxable income.

I am reminded of a report I read during the 2016 campaign about Trump’s private jet. The article said he doesn’t let his kids fly in the plane because he wants them to earn their own luxuries in life, or something like that.

Then I remember the story of Ivanka and Jared getting harassed while boarding a flight from NYC to Washington during the transition in 2016-17.

Now it all makes sense after reading this silly tax return story. Trump doesn’t keep his family off his plane because he wants them to earn their own luxuries. He does it because he uses it for business-related travel, and letting his family members use it might disqualify him from deducting the costs of owning and operating the aircraft on his tax returns.

I don’t care!

I don’t care that the NYT went a sitting president’s tax history, while he is in office, because now that can be done to a democrat president, too.

I DO care that the NYT went after a PRIVATE CITIZEN’S RECORDS before running for office!! That is illegal.

I’d lay money that the NYT received Trump’s tax returns directly from Michael Cohen.

It actually is the duty of the tax payer to pay the minimum legal.

Can you imagine that, the left is mad a guy pays the minimum using accountants and wants the government to take up the duty for you to tell you what the minimum is...

I think it’s unlikely that Cohen would have access to Trump’s 2016 and 2017 tax returns.

Too bad this concept didn’t apply to Biden and AF2
