It was.
And what a wonderful venue for a performance, that balcony.
I’m thinking that the POTUS should look into doing that, hosting performers from that balcony, and livestreaming the performances on the WH’s website.
Last night’s was exquisite.
Elegant! And Melania is a practicing Catholic, unlike our current pope. Biden. Pelosi. ..... The pro-abort nun at the previous democrat conventions.
Schubert’s Ave Maria has been my single favorite piece of music ever since I was a child and first heard Mario Lanza sing it. It is incredibly beautiful and one does not need to be Catholic to appreciate its beauty.
The left have actively rejected God and truly the party of darkness and the coming Antichrist.
It was sung for Melania, an unapologetic Catholic. Did you see the look in her eyes as she silently prayed the lyrics? I got choked up.
Was nessun dorma performed as a tribute to President Trump’s love affair with America? I thought so. The plot has many similarities with his life, and the English translation of the aria sounds to me like Donald’s prayer for the future...
I’m verklempt.
What an ending for a truly stunning convention. We’ve never seen anything like it. May God bless and protect this country -— and the way to cooperate with that blessing was told us by that Maria, Mary of Nazareth, pointing as she always does to her Son: “Do whatever He says.”
OXYMORON ALERT!
Absolutely awe inspiring! Surely, the liberals are feverishly trying to find an obscure law which forbids such glorious celebration.
I think President Trump told Melania
earlier in the day that he had a surprise for her tonight
as the camera pans to her during that beautiful preformance
you can tell the moment she realises that this IS that surprise.
What can you give someone who has everything?
President Trump is the most PROLIFE President ever
also notice when he said the born and unborn
again the camera pans to beautiful Melania flushed
with emotion and beaming with pride for her
husband’s courage in the face of so much evil
to stand up so strongly for the innocent unborn.

How do you listen to that without the tears streaming down your cheeks.
You dont. At least I cant, anyway. Such a beautiful performance.

I had it sung at my ill advised wedding.......
Past my bedtime, couldn’t sleep, flipped open Laptop, and opened an email from TheFirst tv streaming online. Saw nearly all of the fireworks, stunning, and to stipulate, I don’t enjoy opera singing, IT WAS AMAZING presentation. I’m Lutheran, and still AVE MARIA, and Hallelujah wrere both inspiring and moving. America the Beautiful brought tears.
I will watch more today, but have to say how proud, how stirring, how postive and motivated we are about the future. And i slept well when i went back to bed.
I am so Proud to be an American.
Very well done, but I guess I’m one of the minority who thinks is sounds better sung by a woman.
Then I am there with you. This song sounds perfect when sung by a female 1st Soprano.
