Facebook’s fact-checkers on Sunday labeled as “partly false” a video that it said was manipulated to make it appear as if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was drunk or drugged. The video had been circulating on Facebook since Thursday and by Sunday night had been viewed more than 2 million times.
A similarly false video of Pelosi went viral on Facebook in May 2019. At the time, Pelosi blasted Facebook for not removing the video. Facebook had instead applied a fact-check label to it.
Facebook did not remove the new video on Sunday either, meaning it can still be viewed on the platform but a warning label has been placed on it. Videos marked false are also promoted less by Facebook’s algorithms, the company says. Facebook said it will also send a notification to people who shared the video to flag the fact check.

I saw that video. I think, also, that it was manipulated. Sorry. I don’t like her, but I can’t think that was just raw footage. It was altered.

Very interesting. I was actually thinking about how she sounded drunk or drugged and how they tried to cover for her last time with this manipulated video BS. The thoughts were totally unrelated to any videos now circulating and their playbook is so obvious.
Pelosi and Biden are two nasty old dementia addled leaders. It’s no wonder they are leading the country right off of a cliff.
Don’t lump in Facebook with Google, Twitter and Apple other marxist-loving, censoring, tech companies. Erik Erickson had a very good article on this point recently. NBot all tech companies are the same. FB may not be the conservatives’ friend, but unlike the others it does leave up such contrary messaging and videos from Republicans and conservatives.
She is not drunk. She has the Biden disease. It also seems like she had a minor stroke.
