A New Jersey Staples shopper with her nose poking out of her mask pushed another woman to the ground, breaking her leg, after being told to keep her uncovered schnoz six feet away.
The social-distancing encounter unfolded just after 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday at a Hackensack location, where the unknown assailant improperly wearing a mask walked up a 54-year-old woman using a copy machine, police said.

Don’t know about the masked one with the cane, but the unmasked “attacker” is described in the article as a heavyset black female.
Somebody points a cane at me within two inches of my chest I and I would definetly push back a/o attempt to disarm.

Two things you ignored. The lady with the cane started the confrontation and then introduced a weapon into the confrontation.
I live in a culture where every adult is armed almost all the time. We have our differences but you do not jump up with a weapon of any kind and you do not start confrontations you are not prepared to finish.
An armed society is a polite society. The white woman should have displayed some human respect to the other gal.
You can’t come off with an attitude, start a conflict, then introduce a weapon into the conflict and then blame it all on someone else.
A lot of people don’t belong among the living.

WM recently put a Nation-wide Mask rule in ALL of their stores.

It greatly saddens me to realize you two actually watched the video and mock the women attacked.
Obviously there was some kind of incident beforehand as the attacker provocatively and rapidly approached the woman with the cane.
You have no idea what the woman’s condition is that was attacked or what the attacker said to her that caused her to try to defend herself.

There was one woman who made a point of going over to tidy some papers. That was more important to her.

Today this insane jerk (sounded maybe in his 60s) called into our local radio show and declared that people unmasked in a store are the same as people walking into the store with guns drawn. Etc etc etc.

The fat black lady committed the first assault and battery when she walked up to the old lady and started poking her shoulder with her finger.
They were both customers so no employees involved here.
