Delilah was sent to seduce Samson, not Goliath. Someone needs to read their Bible.

Delilah is a Hebrew name. Scholars speculate that she was most likely an Hebrew living among the Philistines

Women. Same as a today.

A simple way to look at it us folks lived longer. Had lots of kids, married their cousins and even sisters.

Abraham married his half sister, Isaac had more of his grandfather s DNA than his dad, then he married his uncles daughter....

DNA changes over time due to environmental factors, and those are due to a fallen world due to sin.

Jesus will return to reset it all to perfection.

When my Brother-in-law spews, I realize what the Philistines felt when slain by the jawbone of an ass.

Looking forward to the DNA

Philistine Park coming soon?

You'll never know how great a kiss can feel
When you stop at the top of a Ferris wheel
When I fell in love
Down at Philistine Park

"I would have liked to know more about who Cain, Abel, Seth (and any other sons) married in those early years."

Their sisters of course. This is well-known and not a mystery. Just something we do not talk about since it is not a polite thing to do these days.

At the close of the Bronze age in the eastern Mediterranean, invaders and what you could call viking-like raiders raided Pharaonic Egypt, Canaan and Hittite Anatolia. They were called the sea peoples by the Egyptians and were given tribal names that seto suggest they were random groups of peoples from Sardinia, Sicily, Crete and Mycenae. They didn’t act in concert.

The philistines were Peleset, guessed as Mycenaeans.

Are there any examples of Philistine *writing* extant? Might be some philological gold there...

"Heck, I would have liked to know more about who Cain, Abel, Seth (and any other sons) married in those early years."
I'd have to check to be certain but I'm pretty sure that someone begat someone else and they begat someone else and it pretty much went on from there.

Which means we're related! Say could you loan me $50.00?

;-)

"But what about Delilah?"

She has a late night radio show for the sad and melancholy
