Former President Barack Obama used his eulogy at the funeral of Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) to call for an end to the Senate filibuster to pass Democrats’ new legislation on voting reform.
Obama said that Republicans had imitated Jim Crow-era restrictions on voting rights, which Lewis marched against, by passing state voter ID laws and other measures that conservatives argue prevent voter fraud.
“And if all this takes is ending the filibuster, another Jim Crow relic, in order to secure the God-given rights of every American, then that’s what we should do.”
Without mentioning Donald Trump by name, Obama likened the president to segregationist Democrat Gov. George Wallace of Alabama, and compared federal law enforcement officers to the police who beat civil rights marchers across the South.
He accused the government of “sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators.”

Obama waited until Senate Dems filibustered each of Trump’s 200 federal judge appointments to the maximum extend allowed before saying that we shouldn’t have filibusters anymore.
Even the rites of death play second-fiddle to this Chicago Nero as he played his partisan political song even with John Lewis's coffin in his view.

every funeral I've ever attended the Minister told tales and chats about the PERSON WHO DECEASED, AND WAS NO MORE....
HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED...now body caskets are taken on horse buggy rides, and tour the different States, then off to Washington D.C. for a parade of people to walk by a casket, and the deceased doesn't know any of the showboating...THEY ARE DEAD...

Forgive me as I say something nice about President Obama. But I thought he looked really nice. He is quite a handsome dude and in great shape.
Yeah his speech was wordy and essentially a liberal tirade, but looks nice, speaks well, even with his grey hair.
Don’t get mad at me. He is wonderful at his job...which is to speak the Commie meme well while looking good and sounding good.
