It is depressing to see how many people here on FR are idiots.

Here is some truth: If the media tells you to do something, and you do it, you are probably an idiot. If you agree with Nancy Pelosi about masks, you are probably an idiot. If you agree with that she-man from Pennsylvania, you are probably an idiot.

Don’t feel bad, 95% of the people around you are idiots.

Find someone who doesn’t do these idiotic things, and do what they do. Then you will at least appear to not be an idiot.

That’s a pretty good rule of thumb — the candidates’ support of masks. I’ll have to do some calling around before the primary.

They actually have masks with a clear plastic inset for these people.

Tiny little problem. Nobody wears them.

My husband is mostly deaf and lip reads. It would do no good for him to wear a mask with an insert as it is not his lips that he reads.

In fact like me he does not wear a mask at all.

You think I’ll wear a mask because you hand me one?

To be perfectly honest, when I go out to a store without a mask, it’s because it isn’t required where I am. However, I keep very distant from other customers and store employees. I look away when anyone with a mask starts to give me a disapproving look. I try to make sure they know I will not breathe anywhere in their direction. I move over to the next aisle or wait until they are finished. I social distance at least twice the approved 6 feet. It’s not hard to do.

In the old days, which means before March 2020, anyone who had a sniffle was expected to have a tissue or handkerchief. I still carry those for an unexpected cough, and if I sneeze, I still do it towards my armpit. I look forward to the future day when everyone will stop wearing masks at the store, and everywhere else. Especially since so many are homemade, may I just point out that those things do absolutely no good from a health perspective? They don’t fit properly to keep out any microscopic organisms, and people seem to keep touching their faces more than without them. So what’s the point?

Mask wearing is an exercise in control over my independence and autonomy by someone else. No thanks. This is supposed to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. I want to keep it that way. I’m not going to shame you for wearing one, and you really ought to think twice about wanting to shame me for not wearing one.

If you can’t wear a mask, it’s on you to keep your distance from other people. Your health problems don’t give you the right to risk other people’s health

F U. You are screwed up in the head if you believe in this hoax. How dare you think you are in a position to to tell others what to do. You keep you frickin distance from freedom loving Americans.

We can start by widely utilizing the term KARENOVIRUS.

Ridicule is a powerful ally.

Excellent idea. Fight fire with fire. It's straight out of their Alinsky playbook.

If you have a health exemption you dont have to wear it..thats my point If you have it on but have it under your chin to get around state, local, and employer rules you dont have an exemption.

Or, you wear one just so the people guarding the door don't hassle you every time you enter a store.

The world situation would be hugely better if people would do this one thing:

Mind your own damn business.

That’s what I do. And as soon as I am in the aisles, I make sure it is down under my nose and I can breathe. The mask does no harm at that point.

Oh, sorry, my apologies. I misunderstood the second mask. Hope that helps the mask Karen feel more secure.

Here in Kentucky the governor issued a statewide mask mandate. But just two hours before that a judge slapped an injunction on him saying he can’t make any covid 19 restrictions carte blanche...it’s up to each counties health department. Didn’t stop the Dem governor. He just ignored the ruling. So his mask order is illegal and I’m not following it. Can you imagine the grief that a republican governor would have if he ignored an injunction against him by a judge?

I don’t wear a mask. I have had the evil eye on me most places I go, I usually look at the biggest evil eyed one and say in a very loud voice, “ what do YOU think about about this Covid hoax? Never ever had a reply back.

Do you think you have the freedom to risk other people’s lives for your convenience?

Deaths/1mm population, July 14, 2020:

USA = 420
Canada = 233

Who’s “screwed up in the head”?

“Tiny little problem. Nobody wears them.”

I would think that the plastic insert would make it twice as hard to breathe than with a regular mask.

The only time I wear a mask is for hour-long physical therapy twice a week. I can hardly breathe in it, even though the therapy isn’t exactly strenuous. I can’t imagine a layer of plastic instead of fabric.

“You and your ilk are really hurting Trump’s chance of reelection.”

Sounds like you might be living in Bizarro World. I believe it’s exactly opposite.

Maybe Fauci should run for President and we’ll see how that goes.

Just wear a panty hose mask, cut about 7 - 8 “ in length, as a mask.

Easy to breathe through...and, people can see your mouth move and understand what you’re saying.
