HR bill proposed to audit US gold holdings
GATA, US Congress ^ | 12 July 2020 | Mooney

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

Surreptitious intervention in the gold market by the U.S. government is the target of legislation introduced in the House of Representatives by Rep. Alex X. Mooney, R-West Virginia.

In a letter to House colleagues seeking support for his Gold Reserve Transparency Act, H.R. 2559, Mooney writes: "Because there are concerns the U.S. Treasury may have sold, swapped, leased, or otherwise placed encumbrances upon some of America's gold, H.R. 2559 also requires a full accounting of any and all sales, purchases, disbursements, or receipts; a full accounting of any and all encumbrances, including due to lease, swap, or similar transactions in existence or entered into in the past 15 years; and an analysis of the sufficiency of the measures taken to ensure the physical security of such reserves."

It’s all fiat currency to begin with. So audit the reserves to prove there are issues, allowing Russia and China to attack America’s credibility in order to remove the dollar as the world’s reserve currency.

Just exactly whose side are you on again????

One day Americans will wake up to find their country is broke. They’ll discover there is no American gold left in Ft. Knox and that their US fiat currency isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. They will realize the country has been robbed / looted of it’s wealth by the ultra wealthy cabal of the world’s bankster families who created the fiat money scam and then used their ill gotten gains for themselves to increase their riches, gold holdings, buy politicians in order to control governments and to control those who control nation state militaries for the bankster’s own self protection and to purchase huge amounts of land to build their isolated mansion estates on various continents all over the world. By those in DC not allowing Fort Knox and the Federal Reserve to be audited is very telling. They’ve but only one thing to hide. Oh, did I say one day?

Even if this happens in another year, bringing home manufacturers and producing products in the USA does much to mitigate the missing gold.

At that point US produced food could be weaponized and withheld from the international markets unless we are helping allies.

The likable villain, Auric Goldfinger.
Great movie...still entertaining and Pussy Galore was a great pilot.

When they come to audit me, I’m going to be honest and tell them that all of my gold, ammo and weaponry was lost in a tragic boating accident a few years back. ;)

You can bet that the House majority Dems will pass this from a POS RINO in WV.

As though there aren’t any other problems that need attention.

In the past two weeks or so, there have been several threads here on FR about China gold plating tungsten in billions of dollars of fraud.

Shouldn’t take long.

Especially since Carter sold most of the U.S. gold reserve. We haven't had substantial reserves for decades. Certainly not enough to affect the market. Most of the gold held in Fort Knox is gold owned by other nations, and the Feral Reserve.

Fact is if you pull up past GATA inquiries to the Reserve, no solid answer is ever given, but much about “ deep storage” which the Reserve said could be “ proven reserves, in the ground, yet to be mined”!
Excerpt of concerns: note their term “ deep storage”...

“2559 calls for the first audit of United States gold reserves since the Eisenhower administration. It’s surprising that we’ve permitted this total lack of oversight.

H.R. 2559 directs the Comptroller of the United States to conduct a “full assay, inventory, and audit of all gold reserves including any gold in ‘deep storage,’ of the United States at the place or places where such reserves are kept.”

Furthermore, because there are concerns the U.S. Treasury may have sold, swapped, leased, or otherwise placed encumbrances upon some of America’s gold, H.R. 2559 also requires a full accounting of any and all sales, purchases, disbursements, or receipts; a full accounting of any and all encumbrances, including due to lease, swap, or similar transactions presently in existence or entered into in the past 15 years; and an analysis of the sufficiency of the measures taken to ensure the physical security of such reserves.”

Remember that Rham Emanuel was in charge of Treasury at the same time he was COS at the White House. Things that make you go hmmm.

Of course the grifter couple from Arkansas would have started it though. I imagine that they just couldn’t resist the temptation to loot Ft. Knox of a few bricks and then of course pretending to be “dead broke” when they left. It totally fits their M.O.
