Group to file petition to recall Norman mayor, some city councilors after cutting police budget

Norman citizens are uniting to make sure their voices are heard after city leaders cut $865,000 from the police department’s budget.

“You’re not helpless. For so long it seems like we were all helpless at the whims of the people in office, but now we’re awake,” Unite Norman leader Russell Smith said.

Smith told KOCO 5 that the group has raised closed to $50,000 in just 48 hours and is working to file a petition to recall Mayor Breea Clark and eligible city council members.

It is Oklahoma. What is surprising is that the council folded under pressure about a looney liberal movement. There is nothing good about a measure to penalize all police for the actions of a single individual.

Another city where if you defend yourself from becoming a crime victim, you’ll go to jail. Remove/recall the entire city council and the mayor, that may get the libturd’s attention!
