IHOP Manager Assaulted In Bloomington By ‘No Pay’ Customers; 9 Arrested

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 37-year-old IHOP employee was assaulted in the early morning hours Thursday after confronting customers who dined and dashed.

Officers responded at about 5:45 a.m. after receiving a report of an assault in progress on the 2200 block of Killebrew Drive in Bloomington. Police said the IHOP manager was assaulted after confronting a large group in the parking lot who had left without paying their entire bill.

They didn’t list the juveniles, but would it surprise anybody that the “adults included Asha Warfa, 19, of Mendota Heights and Addirahman Hassan, 21, of San Diego?

Nine arrested, seven juveniles not named, the two adults:

Asha Warfa, 19, of Mendota Heights was booked and released pending charges. And Addirahman Hassan, 21, of San Diego was held on probable cause aiding and abetting robbery charges, and is currently at HCADC.

Based on the names, these are clearly folks of Scandinavian background as are common in this part of the upper Midwest.

Looking at the names of the assailants, it appears to be case of angry triggered by racism.

How dare a restaurant make black people pay for their food after centuries of oppression.

This is the natural progression of instilling people with the idea that the rules of a civilized society do not apply to them and they are 'entitled' to whatever they want, free of charge, because they have been "oppressed". Anyone who tries to stop them from violating the law or who expects them to adhere to the same rules as the rest of society is simply acting as an oppressor, and can be physically attacked with impunity.

When there are no consequences for this criminal behavior, it will only continue and grow in magnitude.
