Kayleigh: “I was asked probably 12 questions about the Confederate flag... I didn't receive one question on the deaths in our country this weekend... I didn't receive one question about five children who were killed."

[[He sure has improved though. His career average finish is 24th, but since he set himself up as the token untouchable, everyone is afraid to race him hard. His average finish since then is about 11th including a top ten yesterday.]]

I thought about that- I wondered if NASCAR might fudge the rules for his car secretly- just to help him along- allow his car to be a little faster- a little better handling- Amazing that he’s doing so much better all of a sudden- I don’t know if NASCAR woudl do that- but the thought sure did cross the mind because of his sudden improvements- which of course everyone in NASCAr will claim is just regular old improving after experience- but like you said- it sure was a big leap forward quickly

Welcome y’all to the Kayleigh lovefest, better late than never.

I have watched Kayleigh for years on CNN, standing up surrounded by a sea of liberal talking heads. I have been her secret admirer for years. As soon as I heard she was hired as press secretary, I jumped 3 feet in the air, bad knees and all. I already knew how effective she was going to be from day 1. She does her homework and studies the issues well, and best of all she kills them with a smile. There is no other better person PDJT could have picked for the job.

Interestingly, NASCAR was forced to implement a "competition rule" seven years ago after Clint Bowyer purposely spun out his car (which Bowyer denies) to force a caution with seven laps to go, so that his teammate could advance his position in a restart.

After an investigation, Michael Waltrip Racing was penalized owner points and Waltrip eventually closed up his shop a few years later.

The competition rule now expects all drivers to make advancing their own position their #1 priority at all times.

To me, Wallace is a driver on par with Danica Patrick, and is using his unique position to further his off-track interests more than his on-track abilities will allow.

hmmm didn’t know that- pretty rotten of him to do if he did it on purpose- but so hard to tell as drivers run on the very edge of traction all the time and the slightest little thing can make the tires break traction- hitting a corner at wrong angle, hitting a curb, or even just a small bump (That’s how close they are to losing traction all the time on some tracks)

I’d have to see the incident to see- Was he going stria hgt at the time? In a corner where traction is razor thin line? (I race online- iracing, and we’re always right on the edge of losing traction- just a slight bump from another car- and i mean real slight, can send the car spinnin- and that’s online racing- I imagine in real life racin it’s even worse)

It was fully investigated. They have radio transmissions between Bowyer and his spotter talking about it. Bowyer had no cars around him, and he was out of contention for that race, so he had nothing to lose.

The reason it was such an incident is that Jeff Gordon was going to win and secure a spot in the chase. The spinout triggered a yellow flag and a restart, and Gordon got knocked out of contention.

After the investigation, NASCAR awarded Gordon a spot in the chase (making it 13 in the first round instead of 12), and upped the elimination in the first round to five instead of four.

I think there is some racing karma going on, because Bowyer hasn't won a race since that happened.

yeah, been a long time- He’s actually a good driver- and often gets to the front, but fades towards last half of race for some reason- It’s a shame he did that- I always enjoyed watching him race and commentate- he could be pretty funny- - Shame that Waltrip was involved too- a Stupid incident that ruins their reputations for good-
