My professors tried to convince me that America is racist. I refused to buy into it.

I recently graduated with my bachelor’s degree, and I look forward to all the opportunities that await me in America, the single greatest country on Earth.

I proudly look at myself as an American and nothing more, no hyphen, no preceding identity. However, I was told during college that as a so-called student of color I had to think a certain way, vote a certain way and believe certain things about my country and its duly elected officials.

My professors fervently insisted that the United States of America is an inherently racist country and that I am one of its oppressed victims.

I, wholeheartedly, reject that fallacy.

America is predicated on the notion that all men are equally created and possess the same inalienable rights. Here, it doesn’t matter who you are, where you came from, what you believe in (or don’t believe in), or what you look like—anyone can succeed.

America isn’t racist. However, there are those of color that are more racist than any other group.

There I said it.

Academia has become Marxist. I recommend engineering and the real sciences(with caution because many of these have been coopted) All else can pound sand.

Rather than calling them “People of Color,” I’ve decided to start calling them “Colored People.” It’s the same thing but in fewer words, so they can’t complain. Who knew we would be going back in time thanks to BLM?

America IS Racist.

Proof: All those promoting BLM are being racist. (imagine, if I were to proclaim White Lives Matter - I’d be condemned as racist).

Since America has plenty of folk behind BLM, that part of America is therefore racist.

I can’t believe this college grad has a degree in political science. With as much sense as he has I would have thought it’d be engineering, computer science, or some other such degree of real worth. LOL

“My professors fervently insisted that the United States of America is an inherently racist country and that I am one of its oppressed victims.”

“A well-known professional standard for college professors warns against “taking unfair advantage of the student’s immaturity by indoctrinating him with the teacher’s own opinions before the student has had an opportunity fairly to examine other opinions upon the matters in question, and before he has sufficient knowledge and ripeness of judgment to be entitled to form any definitive opinion of his own.” That statement, from the American Association of University Professors, dates from 1915 but is still in force.”

AAUP Bulletin, Volume 8, Issue 8
By American Association of University Professors

“California’s constitution spells out that the University of California “shall be entirely independent of all political or sectarian influence and kept free therefrom.” Yet politicization is now routine. UC Santa Barbara’s History Department offers a minor in “poverty, inequality, and social justice”—that is, radical-left politics. UC Berkeley’s School of Social Welfare says it’s committed to “developing leaders for social justice.” Professors indoctrinate students, seemingly unconcerned with the vast gulf between what their rules forbid them to do and what they are openly doing.”

“Real education is accordingly neglected. In their 2011 book, “Academically Adrift: Limited Learning on College Campuses,” Richard Arum and Josipa Roksa found “an astounding proportion of students”—at least 45% of the 2,300 undergraduates surveyed at 24 universities—“are progressing through higher education today without measurable gains in general skills” like critical thinking, complex reasoning and writing.”

Yes paywall.

I still have to believe along with the obvious Marxist brainwashing, that lowering of the general IQ from the peak time (MY youth---all false modesty aside) is also behind this.

I knew many professors and others were left leaning and it got much worse later. But intelligence can conquer education system brainwashing.

My mother taught me to be a Dem since I was a toddler. For a while it took. Then I used my mind to seek out conservative principles and opinions and compare them with the Dem garbage dumpster contents called "academia".

But today's young people overwhelmingly hate Trump and hate America. Can't they figure it out?

like someone said “We’re so racist that Black Americans and liberals now have to invent racist acts in order to be seen as a racist nation’ or something like that

[[I’ve decided to start calling them “Colored People.” ]]

A black comedian said once-

“I don’t know why ya’ll call us colored people- We’re born black, live black, and die black.

You white folks on the other hand are born pink, turn white, sunburn red, turn blue with envy, get green around the gills, tan in the sun, then turn grey when old- and you call us colored?”

Many of the dims movements now condemn the violent movements they started? Although, they never admit that they were the one’s who originally started the violent movement?

When I was younger (50+ years ago) blacks were called coloreds. Even on the show “Julia” with Dianah Carrol, Earl J Waggerdorns Aunt asked Julia what it’s like to be colored. Julia responded “you’re colored” the aunt looked puzzled then Julia said “white’s a color!”

But I digress, after colored people, Negro was the socially acceptable term. Then Afro-American, then Black, then African-American. The full circle to “people of color”

So given the lack of creativity among the elite, should we soon expect to use Negro II?

In other words:

My professors constantly and repeatedly harassed and badgered me for having my own opinions as a result of my race, we call this Racial Discrimination and you should find a good lawyer.
