We were in Missouri last weekend. Open carry is legal without a permit for anyone over the age of 19. Illinois CCL’s are honored there, too.

Yep. You can open carry in Wisconsin, but need a permit to CC.
Kinda silly, and it certainly doesn’t stop any of the gang violence in Madistan or Milwaukeestan but it is what it is.

One quick way to get companies like Walmart to take those signs down is to pass legislation specifically assigning companies that post such total unlimited liability for the security of shoppers, and granting them immunity for removing or not posting the signs in the first place. Do that and watch the insurance companies start encouraging carry into their stores, watch the signs vanish.
