Yep. You can open carry in Wisconsin, but need a permit to CC.

Kinda silly, and it certainly doesn’t stop any of the gang violence in Madistan or Milwaukeestan but it is what it is.

When Governor Walker was in office, Wisconsin could easily have passed Constitutional Carry.

Unfortunately, there wasn't any serious lobbying presence in Wisconsin for it, and (rumor has it) Governor Walker let it be known he did not want it passed.

Walker was an excellent governor, in most ways, but with a little leadership from him, Wisconsin would have Constitutional Carry today.
