Given the million ticket requests, it would appear a lot of Trump supporters signed up with no intention of going as well.
The thing I would like to know, from people who live in the area - did this really affect ticket availability, and did this really affect turnout??? Did it affect any of the usual strategies for making sure the house was packed, like maybe bussing people in, etc. etc.?
I don’t think I understand enough about how the process works of getting people to go to these rallies, in order to understand what the “zoomers” did or didn’t accomplish here.

Flat out look right into the camera. Speaking specifically to swing voters, undecideds, moms, moderates et al
They don’t care about you
They don’t care about your Constitutional rights. Your First Amendment rights. They try to shut you up. They try to feed you fake news
They block your right to assemble, to speak out, to hear out, all the while they are out looting and rioting and burning and desecrating while encouraging such destructive behavior.
They don’t care about your Second Amendment rights, in fact, they want to confiscate your arms. They want armed security for them, but nothing for you to protect yourself and your family
They want to spy on you, they don’t care about your privacy and Fourth Amendment rights.
They are not interested in due process rights for you
Nor for Equal Protection for you and your families
They are tyrants and if you put them in power, you will lose your freedoms, your choices, your schools, your voting rights, your livelihood and more
They try to silence you because they don’t want you to know the truth, to know their real aims. They’ll raise your taxes like you wouldn’t believe, while padding their own pockets with your money. They will divide, it’s their MO

When I went to a Trump rally in Phoenix the haters were out in force yet unable to stop us. Why? Because the police were out in force separating the two sides. This Tulsa Mayor obviously consipred to keep attendance down by letting the mob take control rather than the police.
I said “at the polls.”

it’s the reports of people not being allowed through the closed gates, screeners down etc, that made a difference, if confirmed.

It blocked seats so everyone that wanted to couldn’t get in. And those outside blocked the metal detectors so even thise with reservations couldn’t get in, there were thousands left outside.

FRiend, your post makes no sense. I've supported Trump since way before people thought he was a serious candidate. I still do. He's a fellow businessman, and I understand his perspective and like it. Check out my history.
But none of that changes the fact that the press/Dems will try to diminish the importance of Trump's campaign event. And it's baloney, like I said.
I tried to get in the gate starting at 3:00. They brought in about a hundred police, troopers, national guard, in riot gear, to get the crowd under control. Protesters with no intention of peacefully listening to Trump pushed up against the gate, 30 abreast. The enforcers backed the group up about a half block and then gave the rules about getting in. It was to be a single file walk to the gate, behave while in line, if the man in the gray shirt at the gate said you weren’t getting in, turn around and head south. Someone asked what “behave” meant and he looked at the lady Like he was her dad and said, “You KNOW what behave means.” So I walk to the gate, behaving as best I can, and someone in front of me started acting the fool. There were three young ladies dressed in shirts espousing a politically hot topic of the moment, and they were turned away, upon which they started arguing, until their mother minder instigator came to help them along so they didn’t get arrested. Any fool should know to at least hide a shirt like that because it is a clear indication you are going to be an in-your-face protester inside the venue. It is not your right to enter a private event, as is a campaign stop. So, we were delayed by this nonsense of gate blocking for about an hour. After the rally, we were funnel out an opposite way to avoid the noisy protesters.
