Donald Trump has declared that he will no longer watch U.S. soccer and will likely not watch NFL games after the governing bodies of both sports approved kneeling during the national anthem.
Trump on Saturday tweeted his support for Matt Gaetz, a congressman from Florida, and Jim Jordan, congressman for Ohio, who have both been outspoken about the sports.
On Tuesday the U.S. soccer federation reversed its three-year ban on kneeling during the anthem.

I would have liked to have seen the XFL go head to head with the NFL this year. Americans are ready for an alternative - a league that doesn’t disrespect them and their values. Unfortunately, with their first season cancelled because of coronavirus, they’re filing for bankruptcy.

When I was coming of age, soccer was pushed on us, and so was the metric system — and for the same reason: The rest of the world did it; America was stubborn and behind, in its rejection of those things...Soccer and the metric system were rebukes to American exceptionalism — American thickheadedness and backwardness.
Does that mean he’ll stop watching

The France family turned their collective backs on the roots of American racing which was the legacy of moonshiners running on dirt tracks and then tobacco which funded them for years so this doesn’t surprise me at all.
Would it be ok to watch and hope they all get injured?
They sucked me back in, after they stopped the kneeling, but they won’t fool me again.
