Unfortunately, that’s a good point.

Obviously, the officer didn’t intend to hurt this guy. He certainly doesn’t deserve to be fired.

I agree...doesn't even look like the cop pushed him hard at all. I'd say the civilian tried to make it look like he was pushed hard and ended up tripping.

That 75 year-old man fell down on purpose.

That's my take as well...maybe he didn't intend to hit his head on the way down, but that was a NBA quality flop.

Good, they can all go to hell. The guy probably suffered brain damage. If so, his family could own Buffalo.

This is why an increasing number of people don’t like police.

Good for Buffalo’s finest!

Buffalo's "finest" may have caused a man brain damage.

That old dude was ABSOLUTELY being confrontational. He touched two officers with his phone as he stood in their line of march.

That's cause to shove him away, causing him to fall and possibly suffering brain damage?

Buffalo PBA says officers were “simply following orders” - WPIX

That's what they said at the Nuremberg Trials.

The next step is for white people, who are obviously all racists, to refuse to pay property taxes.

Let the stupid mayor deal with that.

He touched two officers with his phone as he stood in their line of march.

Depending on several factors, including clothing, some people generate static electricity which causes mild shock when discharged through such things as a cell phone touching metal. Although the shock doesn't really hurt, it causes a reaction such as shoving. The old fella looked like a basketball player inducing a foul and taking a flop. He looked quite relaxed laying on the ground with his legs crossed and arms perfectly positioned. He never lost control of his phone and the knee pads visible under his pants was also a good touch.

True.

Also, a very small amount of blood can look like a lot of blood. Very unlikely he lost more than 3oz.

Sure looked to me he was reaching for the officers gun. That's what brought on the tiny little shove, to get him away from trying to get officers gun

His hand was at chest level. Last I remember, police carry at the hip. That wasn't a tiny shove, it was hard enough to cause the man to stumble backwards, falling and hitting his head on the concrete, causing him to start bleeding out of his ear. Those blue thugs are throwing a temper tantrum because the one that did the shoving was being punished.

Ok. Now did he move like a frail old man, or like someone I described? How would the cop have perceived him?

So you compare riot control police to Nazi war criminals. Charming.

The old man was very clearly brain damaged from earlier.

Attending a riot and walking up against and into law enforcement.

Stupid man wins stupid prize

Your headline is biased and misleading. Apparently based on the police union spokesman quoted here:

“Fifty-seven resigned in disgust because of the treatment of two of their members, who were simply executing orders,” Buffalo Police Benevolent Association president John Evans told WGRZ on Friday. WKBW also reported news of the resignations.

Fact: They resigned from the Emergency Response Team (ERT), not from the Police.

Supposition: They resigned in support of their fellow ERT members, as suggested by the Police Union.

Suggestion: If I were a member of this team, I would have resigned because I opposed the strong-arm tactics employed by this team against this legal and constitutionally protected protest.

I saw NO evidence of terrorist threat of violence in this instance.

I want to know what he said to them and what the poking around with the phone was about.

"I saw the video...the fall and his head hitting ground was awful...I think I even heard his head crack on the pavement."

The old commie was carrying a helmet in his left hand. That sound was the helmet hitting the ground.
