Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan asserted Sunday night that “white men” are responsible for much of the widespread destruction across the country during protests against the death of George Floyd, a black man who died after an officer kneeled on his neck for several minutes.
“I want to acknowledge that much of the violence and destruction, both here in Seattle and across the country, has been instigated and perpetuated by white men,” she wrote Sunday night on Twitter, adding that they “experience the height of privilege and are co-opting peaceful demonstrations.”
Durkan is not the only person blaming white people for much of the violence.
MSNBC host Joy Reid was among several media pundits and politicians who suggested the protests are going awry partially because white supremacists are getting involved.

Here are some questions I would like to ask:
For YEARS, well qualified candidates have lost out on jobs and college admissions based on those less qualified being given extra points and “diversity programs”. White people have accepted this without argument. Is THIS a sign of “white racism”?
Young black men commit more violent crimes against whites, cops and OTHER BLACK people far, FAR more than any other group. More than white men, more than cops, more than angry old white women. Yet even as we are the victims of their crime, THEY are the ones discriminated against? Can someone, ANYONE explain just how this works?
The black community and black families have been destroyed by demonRAT leftist policies and (much too) young black women have been more than happy to bear sons that they aren’t willing to parent, jettison the father allowing him to escape responsibility for the kids they spawn, all for the free gov’t check to fund their weaves and 3 inch plastic nails. Again, the other population groups have remained silent and these women have refused to accept the blame for their poor choices. Racist?
The police have been hamstrung regarding how they deal with the gang bangers, drug dealers, wife beaters, child abusers and thieves by local ‘’RAT pols who don’t give a rat’s azz about these people, but want the votes. But the rest of us are “racist”?
The demonRAT party has NEVER had the best for the black community at heart and their history clearly shows what they believe about keeping them darkies on the plantation, it just looks different these days. But those of us who see the ongoing damage caused by the ‘RATs, refuse to back them or vote for them are “racist”?
I’m sure I could come up with more questions for these race hustlers in time, but right now it’s bedtime for this old lady.

Congrats on your move RA! (I ‘did’ 55 years in Seattle, and a few of it’s surrounding areas, before my escape to the mountains years ago). At one time the Seattle area was one of the best spots in the USA to live. Hard to believe that one for folks that only see Seattle, and 99% of Western Washington, as it is now. I remember.
