There now seems to be a magic word that triggers many liberals including those who work at Politico. And that magic word is "hydroxychloroquine." Why? After all the early reports from doctors around the world reveal that it can be an effective treatment for coronavirus. So what's not to like? Well, President Donald Trump, that's who.
Since the Orange Man has stated that hydroxychloroquine could be a great aid in treating coronavirus, liberals reflexively reacted that it must be bad. All evidence pointing to the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine must now be written off by them as some sort of Trump delusion based upon only anecdotal evidence. In addition, anybody touting that treatment must be derided along with Trump.

We get told daily that conservatives are science deniers because we don’t accept global warming is man made, then we find out the democrats are denying a drug with life saving possibilities....isn’t that science denial of the highest order...

The simple solution to this is that those who despise Hydroxychloroquine should refuse it when offered to them as a remedy. If they have the virus, they should show the world how virtuous they are by toughing it out and perhaps even dying. That would, of course, release more Hydroxychloroquine for those who don’t mind being verbally abused by the media leftists in order to get well.
BTW, my S-I-L who has lupus, has been taking it for YEARS, so we know it is basically safe.
As senior citizen living in Florida, I am pleased to have Gov DeSantis be a cheerleader for Hydroxychloroquine.
Knowing that some government bureaucrat will not stand in the way of being given Hydroxychloroquine is a needed reassurance in trying times like these.

I had a similar thought. Let the Democrats and their comrades in the media and deep state refuse to take Hydroxychloroquine.
And this will create a bigger stockpile for the rest of us.
the discovery of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment has thrown a monkey wrench into their plans to extend this crisis as long as possible.
I think the bad press regarding Hydroxychloroquine is more than just TDS.
Notice that there are efforts at creating a vaccine for COVID-19 being done in various countries and by various companies and organizations. In the USA, non other than Bill Gates is putting his money up on the development of a vaccine. Interesting that all of these efforts around the world are not being coordinated and that data is not being shared. Why?
Could it be that the first company to create and patent an effective vaccine will be making money hand over fist?
Could it be that Hydroxychloroquine, who’s patent has expired, is available generically and is not really a money maker for pharmaceutical companies?
As many here have said, “Follow the money.”
Not sure why we let the reporting arm of the DNC continue with the hydroxy war to rebut Trump. It can end forever by asking the biased reporter one question rather than responding.
If you had covid and your doctor prescribed hydroxy, would you decline to take it? No one will believe them if they lie and say no and most will be forced to say yes.

Does anybody know approximately how many people were helped with HCQ in Florida, or how many were helped in the United States? Is each state getting enough doses of HCQ?
