If Cuomo were smart, he would wait until 2024 to run. POlitics is a cycle here in the US and for a cycle, its a Republican, and then a Democrat, etc, rinse and repeat. This is where Trump saw his chance, versus 2012. It is rare that a President has one term. It does happen, Carter and Bush the Elder are examples. Trump will get re-elected, why does Cuomo want to be a sacrificial lamb. Wait until the field is more open. He will have his Wuhan creds and any mistakes he made will have been foregotten by 2024.

I am not defending Cuomo, it is just the political reality. Would he win the Presidency? Can’t say at this point...

Look at Cuomos’s actual policies. They won’t fly. He announced today — a week into Corona lockdown— that NY is bankrupt. Says his April 1st budget will raise taxes again and cut education. He was going to do this anyway. He’s a joke.
