House Democrats will introduce a sprawling plan to blunt the economic damage from the coronavirus pandemic as efforts to pass a bill in the Senate hit roadblocks Monday. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said her caucus would unveil legislation Monday “that takes responsibility for the health, wages and well-being of America’s workers.” It would include, according to a statement from the California Democrat:

Requirements that corporations getting bailout money shield workers’ wages and benefits, and limits on CEO compensation, stock buybacks and layoffs.

Direct payments to Americans, along with expanded paid family and medical leave.

Grants and loans to small businesses.

Strengthened unemployment insurance.

Increased funding for hospitals and tougher safety standards for health-care workers.

Language urging President Donald Trump to invoke the Defense Production Act to manufacture more health-care supplies.

$40 billion in funding for schools and universities along with student debt relief.

More funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and other food assistance programs.

State election grants and a national requirement for 15 days of early voting and no-excuse absentee voting as fears grow about coronavirus spreading at crowded polling sites.

: “Do you know what the American people are thinking right now? They’re thinking that the brain is an amazing organ. It starts working in a mother’s womb, and it doesn’t stop working until you get elected to Congress.”

He also said something like “Do you know what the American people are thinking right now? That America was founded by geniuses, but is being run by idiots right now” (Meaning the morons on the left filling he bill full of pork while Americans are hurting right now)

The roadblock was DEMOCRATS who are trying to take advantage of the crisis. It is sickening. And Schumer and Pelosi are truly evil people.

Btw, the bipartisan crafted bill in the Senate does all ot that already. Pelosi is playing politics. She is truly vile, but she knows her lackeys in the media will carry her water.

The only thing Democrats contribute is various schemes of self interest, chaos, and stupid.

no-excuse absentee voting as fears grow about coronavirus spreading at crowded polling sites.

No fault? Even the dead voters have a chance.

reparations-

Why do students get their debts cancelled and not every American who has debt? (NOT that i want this- people should pay their debts- ALWAYS- just trying to figure out why liberals think only students should have their debts forgiven)

What was it that that holiest of Rats said just a few years back? IIRC it was something like “never let a crisis go to waste”.
