No ...... REALLY ......

Shadow and Acronym are perfectly innocent, American names for legitimate companies, just trying to make a buck.

the Iowa Democratic Party asked that the app’s name be kept secret. The New York Times reported that “its creators had repeatedly questioned the need to keep it secret.”

Yeah, the original name, "ScruBernie" was a little impolitic.

Why does everything the Democrats do have to be so corrupt and underhanded? Does anyone there know anything about ethics, transparency or telling the truth? Is there one decent human being in the entire party?

How ironic that they called the company “Shadow”. It feels like flaunting underhanded trickery right in our faces. But...

...I know some are suggesting that there were some shenanigans involved to “rig the outcome”. But the simplest answer is probably just that they are insiders deeply embedded in Democratic establishment, so of course they are able to leverage that into a private contract. It’s more like political leverage imo than some attempt to rig the count. They wanted to get rich and used their associations to form a private company that services their party. Happens all the time.

“With Shadow, we’re building a new model incentivized by adoption over growth.”

A fitting epithet for every failed business. How to say nothing about nothing, yet thrill the hearts of every woke Democrat.
