After President Trump left the House floor last night, Nancy Pelosi banged her gavel stating both Houses were "dissolved." Shortly thereafter, she banged the gavel again calling the House to order, and then left the House floor.
A man (not sure who, sorry) then took the podium and recognized Steny Hoyer who called for the SOTU speech to be entered into the record, and called to adjourn the session.
I used my hand.
I cannot find any reference to it being a legitimate term either, but she definitely said it.
I searched Congressional Record archives for “dissolved” - it seemed to be commonly used when ending joint “sessions” or joint “meetings” of House and Senate.
How do you know he does?

I was thinking more on the line of “steaming piles of dog crap on a cold winter morning”, but hey, that’s just me...

Ok got it. She dissolved the joint session then called just the house back into order. Then she split, left them to finish and took her torn speech with her.
I read she had invited some Parkland guy to the SOTU and he was making a scene, yelling and had to be escorted out.
Maybe someone with more knowledge can add to this.
I saw her pointing toward the dims dressed in white, but she looked pissed. Maybe some of her hens were clapping for Trump’s speech?
Yes, I didn’t know who the guy was or what he was yelling (and didn’t try to find out), but I could tell she was freaking out trying to get him to shut up.
Both of us are right. But they do appear possessed.

Here’s Pelosi testing to see if she could rip the speech before the speech even started. She was planning to do it from the start.
It was an overwrought Parkland father and gun grabber, who was reportedly immediately escorted out of the Chamber, the personally invited guest of Demonic Nancy, who probably knew he could be depended on to emotionally crack, out loud and in public.
