Iran has announced the arrest of a person who recorded a video last week showing missiles striking the Ukrainian passenger plane that crashed outside of Tehran but it may be a case of mistaken identity.
The person, who was detained by Irans Revolutionary Guards, is expected to face charges related to national security following the military mishap that downed the plane, according to Iranian media reports. Yet the London-based journalist who first posted that persons footage on Twitter, the BBC says, is claiming that authorities have arrested the wrong individual.
The person who is a source of the video is SAFE and I can assure you IRGC is orchestrating another lie, Nariman Gharib tweeted. They killed 176 passengers on a commercial plane. Thats the real story here.

Iran.
The future of America if libs gain control.
But, first the cretins will have to figure out how to confiscate millions and millions of anti-liberal tube-like projectile launchers.
Pretty much how I figured these arrests would go.
Video kinda suggests that this person new something was about to happen, unless he just likes to video planes taking off all night and day and just coincidentally caught the tragic action.
Iran must be trying to get to the bottom of how they shot down that passenger plane by arresting someone who exposed it. < /s >
Maybe there had already been some near misses.
all clear now.
1. Iranians shot the plane PURPOSELY.
?fleeing nuclear secrets?
2. and arrested the photographer of their SHOOTDOWN.
Anyone watched “Richard Jewell” yet?
Or he was looking to get footage of a cruise missile attack
Poor guy.
I hope he goes quick.
How dare you!
Given the level of tension going on taking videos at that time isn’t a stretch.
Article says the video was from a security camera. My guess is that a building security guy was reviewing the footage and realized that one of the parking lot cameras had caught the impact.
Blame some “shadowy film maker.” The ayatollahs learned from The Master.
It is suspicious that this person "just happened" to be recording the night sky there. They may legitimately want to know why he was doing that.
I've heard it said that he recorded the scene because there were two missiles fired. That gives him an excuse but... It also reflects pretty badly on their air defense guys if they cannot hit a large, slow, hot, airliner with no countermeasures that isn't taking any evasive maneuvers. If true, then the fact that the first shot missed is bad news for their air defense readiness. They may have arrested him out of sheer embarrassment.
However, I think the real reason they've arrested him (or tried to get the right guy) is punitive. They cleaned up the crash site, bulldozed it, here controlling access to the black boxes... If it hadn't been for this video they might have been able to stick with their original story. You know having to admit they eff'd up and shot down a civilian aircraft made a lot of powerful people angry. They're going to want their pound of flesh.
Didn’t somet6similar to this happen to the Project Veritas person who exposed the abortion clinics?
“...military mishap...??? Fox goes to new lows. Do they somehow know the intentionality or not of this murder of 180 people???
