WASHINGTON (AP) The top Senate Republican is denouncing the unfair House impeachment of President Donald Trump and reassuring Trump and his supporters that moments like this are why the United States Senate exists.
Sen. Mitch McConnell, in remarks prepared for a Thursday floor speech, accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of being afraid to send their shoddy work product to the Senate after she threw uncertainty into the impeachment process by refusing to say when she would send two impeachment articles to the Senate for a trial.

yet, Nancy is holding wanting to know the rules.
I watched the Nixon hearings and the Clinton trial. It seems clear what rules Mitch will follow.
She thinks if she holds Trump will not be able to replace Ginsberg and the dems will have a solid campaign issue. Wrong on both counts.
At times her judgment seems very impaired.

Thanks for the info. I had never heard any of this story
Blankenship lost the primary, no surprise, and Mitch McConnell's campaign posted a meme with Mitch McConnell in place of Pablo Escobar from the show Narcos, with the caption "Thanks for Playing Don"
Now this is funny!

Because one of the charges is Obstruction and they can claim before the court that they need the GJ material to prove obstruction. So...they had enough evidence to vote, but not enough to present?

I would estimate that slightly more than half of the population in the USA are non-Americans, regardless of their birthplace. I include those that identify as, or vote as Democrats. They are my enemy - Not my countrymen.

President Trump will wear this impeachment as a badge of honor. As he should.

Well, Levin (a radio show guy, JD)... Levin is much more than that.

Levin is much more than that. Of course he is. What is often most important about an expert's current opinion is his or her present undertakings and most recent accomplishments.
I will admit to a lack of enthusiasm with Levin. About 12 or so years ago on his radio show he rudely intellectually manhandled an attorney who had an impressive career with the IRS. She had called in with a factual correction about a regulation Levin was addressing; she wasn't argumentative or hostile. He blew her off the air with the, "you cant tell me, I was there" gambit.
My take-away was, "Blowhard".

My comment: The Trump card will eventually be played. Trump will be in full battle mode for 2020; Hell is coming for breakfast.
To: Agamemnon
Won’t happen. Trump’s legal team would open him to cross-examination and perjury.
