Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives have officially impeached the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, over an interpretation of a 30-minute phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The vote in the House took place after around 10 hours of debate on the floor, after a near-three month process, and just one day shy of the 21-year anniversary of the impeachment of President Bill Clinton – another of only three Presidents ever impeached.
The two articles of impeachment passed as follows (numbers will update as results come in):
Article 1: Abuse of Power: 230 YEA vs 197 NAY vs 1 PRESENT
Two Democrats voted ‘NAY’ on Abuse of Power while one – believed to be Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard – simply voted “Present” – a form of abstention.
Article 2: Obstruction of Congress: [Awaiting Result]

And unlike Donald Trump the next, God forbid, RAT president will be worthy of impeachment because we won’t have to make up stories about corruption because we know every elected RAT has committed impeachable offenses! Okay this may be a stupid question but I don’t see anybody else asking it so I’ll step up. What happens next? More importantly when? I think we would all really appreciate it if somebody with real constitutional knowledge and interest is question not a bunch of people just take guesses that really won’t help. Is Nancy Pelosi does not allow the Senate to vote on this I don’t see how she could not allow that. The Senate I would think could make a resolution that state something like no not voted on officially unofficially we voted against it and dismissed it. I also predict Romney votes present.

We had a Republican House, Senator and Presidential Cabinet.
Republican President Lincoln made a mistake of running with a democrat Vice President for election purposes.
All that brought was his assassination.
Johnson was at odds with the entire elected and appointed body of the country during a time of the end of the war and start of reconstruction.
Hmmm, if he had been removed, who would have replaced him ?

He is not impeached, first because the house never voted to have a hearing g, secondly because the Senate has not adjudicated the improper referral.

Well I’m sorry but it’s done. The Dems won. They got what they wanted. No fight back at all from anyone of not. Now we will hear how Trump was impeached for the next year and the low info voters will assume he actually did something wron. Sorry, but it’s over.
