Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives have officially impeached the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, over an interpretation of a 30-minute phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The vote in the House took place after around 10 hours of debate on the floor, after a near-three month process, and just one day shy of the 21-year anniversary of the impeachment of President Bill Clinton – another of only three Presidents ever impeached.
The two articles of impeachment passed as follows (numbers will update as results come in):
Article 1: Abuse of Power: 230 YEA vs 197 NAY vs 1 PRESENT
Two Democrats voted ‘NAY’ on Abuse of Power while one – believed to be Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard – simply voted “Present” – a form of abstention.
Article 2: Obstruction of Congress: [Awaiting Result]

Just another Dem coward that talks tough. Straddle the fence, get a picket up your butt. She is not presidential material, even if she were legally eligible (she isn't).
She doesn't believe Trump should be impeached, but she's afraid of alienating the party base (the kooks - but they're all kooks now).
It was a mis-vote, somebody hit the wrong button, and it took that Republican 4 minutes to correct his error.
So, that Congressman voted with the President in the end.....we should forgive him,...

Those are the votes for setting the rules for the impeachment debate. The impeachment votes have not been posted yet.

So, every time the dems have a prez and the pubbies have the House, impeach. Simple. They set the standard that if you lose an election, impeach.
I dont think this is over. Pelosi and Schiff are still going to try and pull a rabbit out of their hats. She said tonight, no decision on sending articles over to the senate. What slim.

Interesting scenario.
What happens if the Senate votes to dismiss the charges? Kind of like when a judge reviews the evidence and tosses it out. Can Trump then go to court and make it so the impeachment never happened?
So there is the divide: the people of Democrat districts against the people of Republican districts. Let the relocations of businesses and people commence.

This is a stain on the America I grew up in. My hope is they will pay for this. But then again, it’s hard to have any faith in the fbi/doj or the senate.
The hoaxblower is employed by the CIA. How many other CIA spies are inside the Trump White House tonight working on impeachment 2.0? It’s remarkable how little interest the GOP controlled Senate has in gathering facts on this ongoing treason. Clearly, we Trump voters need to return the disinterest when future GOPe figures are targeted by Democrats.

Pelosi just demanded a fair trial in the senate. What blatant hypocracy.......... I bet she does not send the articles to the senate, and uses that to demand how McConnell conducts the trial in the senate. Wow how disgusting.
